@@NotAlex360 I’ve dropped in for games from time to time but with the changes to voting / factions making heli pilots wait 10 mins or longer usually it really kills the fun. Gone are the days of 2 helicopters on each team rushing caps at the start. Combine this with the lack of experienced players or even players who use there mic because owi felt that blasting steam sales was a good idea. I’ve been trying to find a way to enjoy it, but as a long time player it’s just lost its magic. Thanks Owi !
Reforger is like Arma 3 model with more feedback, feels really cool actually. Probably the easiest to get good at Arma 3 basic was crazy (ex koth pilot). Sideways barrel rolls into tiny lz was unrealistic but really high skill ceiling. Easier to pick up than squad but definitely on the same level to master. Advanced Arma 3 - only have like 20h maybe flying so not so sure Squad - hardest to learn, comparable skill ceiling to Arma 3. Probably biased but still my favourite just because of the hours I’ve sunk into learning it. Yes it’s unrealistic but for squads scope they work.
@@ZER0_AU I used to fly a lot in Arma 3 as well, with both models. The simple model is honestly easy for everyone to get really good with, if they spend some time on training. I remember times like going 100km/h sideways on the street infront of the airfield, which has obstacles on both road sides, so its a very tight fit, and I had gunners that shot drivers of an enemy convoy.. some really cool memories. The advanced model is what got me more interested in flying and since then I've been wanting to get a helicopter license irl as well. It is similar to Squad, but imo the physics engine of Arma is easier and better for helicopters, so its still much more beginner friendly than Squad will ever be. Cant wait to try Reforger some day, but for now Im still waiting for Arma 4.
@@ZER0_AU you could have flown it at a higher altitude, the only time an A-10 comes down is when it has to strafe targets only to pull up again. It should be your gut instinct not to be upside down when you are so close to the ground and when you are the right way up and still close to the ground, you need to pull up on the control stick to stay alive.
