Im so sorry about your Copper, Roxanne. We have been battling the decision with the hubs for our dog Jack who is just over 16 yrs. He eats, walks, but he is losing muscle mass, gets us up three of four times a night to pee, and does have to take a long time to stand up. Today is Rainbow Bridge rememberance day, so God gave you your answer on this day to allow Copper to sleep peacefully. Hugs from your AHS '83 friend.
I'm so sorry you had to make that hard decision. Your love for Copper helped you do what was best for him even though you hurt. Many hugs. I'm thinking of you.
It’s so rough! Hugs to you. I had a chihuahua for 15 years. Loved her so much. Now I have a 1 year old chihuahua mix. They are so special to us. Such good companions! 🙏🏻
I'm not someone who's ever had her nails done. I'm too cheap and too lazy, I guess, to want to do something that needs consistent upkeep. But that said, I still found this interesting to watch, because it's always fun learning new things! And, I really enjoyed seeing the Fall Decor from Hobby Lobby! And though I still resent that the owner got it approved so he doesn't have to pay for Birth control for his employees on their insurance, they do have cute things there, and you can't beat their sale prices. I fully understand abortion being against some people's religious beliefs, but I don't get refusing to help employees buy birth control. You'd think he'd want to, so they didn't have to take time off for a pregnancy they may not have even wanted. Seems to me the best way to prevent abortions is to help people plan their children, by various forms of birth control, prior to getting pregnant. But again, I do still go now and then to Hobby Lobby, because of their cute stuff.
Well, I didn't realize there were two new videos, so I watched them in reverse order. Hah! But at least I'm caught up now. I totally forgot to ask about the MRI in my other comment, but you answered my question, in this. It is for your back. I sure hope they can give you some answers on why it's hurting so bad again! Lot of interesting things in this to me. I especially enjoyed when you were talking about your Bible study. Interesting that there's an app to translate the original Hebrew words. We had a pastor some years ago, at our church, who completed his Doctorate of Divinity while at our church. One of his concentrations during that was studying both Hebrew and Greek, so he could actually read the Bible in its original form. I went to his Bible studies for several years. And he definitely had some different takes on various parts, such as the parables. And it gave us a whole new outlook on some of the parts of the Bible. Definitely enjoyable. Don't know if I've mentioned that my son is a minister for our denomination. So far he has his Master's of Divinity. Someday may go back for his Doctorate. He's not the expert that our one minister was, but he did study the languages some. I'll have to ask him if knows about that app. Also, your prayer squares are so pretty! I know what you're going through with Copper. Been through that decision period severaI times with dogs over the years. My heart goes out to you!! ❤

Yes, it definitely did inspire to do some more sorting through stuff. Right now, I'm getting ready for an 12 day trip starting the 27th. But when we get back it'll still be too soon to have to think about Christmas, cards, etc., so that'll be next project to get rid of some more stuff. I can't speak for others but I found this interesting and satisfying. It's nice to know I'm not the only who hangs onto stuff. And it was satisfying to see you accomplish so much! And, yes, on the bottom drawers sticking on those plastic drawer things. I always thought it was my fault, because I had to much stuff in them. But I guess it's actually that they're designed poorly! Anyhoo, thanks for sharing!! 😊

Hi Roxy! The Crumble cookies are way more expensive at my location I think they are $4.99 each. Nice video, a good selection of topics. I love Surprise, it is way more cleaner than anything in California.

Don't think I've heard of Crumble Cookies, so don't think we have them around here. But those other cookies definitely looked yummie! We do have 5 Belows all over the place. Although I've only actually ever been in one, a couple of times. Looked like some good quality stuff, so I'll have to get to ours another time, soon. Generally I go to Dollar Tree, because it's much closer to me. If I need cards that's where I usually go because they're still really cheap, but nice cards. Your new glasses look pretty. Yeah, for sun glasses I get the ones that clip at the edges, from Walmart. So far they always seem to have ones that fit whatever frame I have. Cool that your daughter's moving in with you! If you'd mentioned that before, I guess I missed it. I'm sure you'll love having her there for company! 😊
I’ve never tried those fries. I love crunchy tacos but can’t eat their lettuce. Makes me sick. So i have to get them without lettuce and take them home and add lettuce. I don’t get them very often now. But they are yummy!
@@athomeinaz5421 , I assume it’s something it’s washed in or a preservative. I have had salads make me sick way back maybe 30 some years ago. From certain fast food places. More than once and homemade salads where I was the lettuce in water don’t bother me like that. I can eat the taco without a problem as long as I have them leave off the lettuce. To me it smelled moldy. Yet wasn’t visibly. It is weird. I don’t eat those prewashed packages of salad either. I buy a head of lettuce or a bunch and wash it myself. No problems since I started that.
I’m missing all the beautiful rain. We’re in Las Vegas for a few weeks helping our daughter move. It’s been between 110 - 117. I need my beautiful Prescott Valley weather. 🥰
Hi Roxanne. You did really good. Im good for about one thing a day. On my good days I overdo it and pay for it the next day. 20 min is better than no minutes so pat yourself on the back and do it again tomorrow. Take care and God bless.

Don’t be hard on yourself, you have a good plan to start and do a bit at a time. Did you say in a video that your daughter was coming to live with you, or was that someone else I watch? I was thinking you were going to start cleaning out your spare room for her. (I could be thinking of someone else). Take care!
Well, seeing that I'm still unpacking from May 1st apartment move. And yes, most people would still not be unpacking. It would already have been done. But I'm limited on what I can do and it takes me a lot longer to get through things plus I have to down size cause this apartment is smaller than my last one. And seeing that I ha lot of things that keep me from being able to do what I used to be a bit longer than it wants you to. But while I was listening to your video I did take a few quick glances at what you were doing but I worked on one of my boxes while you were cleaning your bathroom. So together we worked and got some things done yea us.😊
I didn't know what I was? But I guess I'm a messy too, LOL. I fly in and out of my condo and it is three times smaller than the house that I moved out of. So if you set something down then you will get a pile built up in no time! This video just gave me the motivation to take an hour a day this coming week and devote it to my house! Have watched a few of your videos love your Channel and will be sharing it on my FB thanks so much for keeping it real, because there is a lot of us Messi's out here that gave us the encouragement to just do what we can when we can 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼

Oh Roxanne, thank you so much for sharing this. I think this is something many, many people struggle with. In my dad's family, all the women struggled with this and then so did my mother. I wish I lived closer to you because I would just come and help you! I know that it is so overwhelming to tackle this kind of stuff and especially hen you deal with pain on top of it. I would say maybe just on the daily only focus on 3 things: trash, dishes, and clothes. All the other stuff can get done a little each week. And your bathroom really didn't look that bad to me. Just disorganized, that's all. Maybe try getting a basket that would hold all the stuff you use every single day (toothbrush/toothpaste/hair stuff) and throw everything into it after you use it. At least then it's contained in one spot. That makes it look organized. My husband has a lot of stuff on the counter too. He won't use the basket idea, but I do for mine and it seems to help things look more "together". Lastly, don't be so hard on yourself. You are doing a great job because you never give up!

Wow, I'd say you made huge headway, for that brief of time. I do totally relate to everything you said in this one! My pain is not constant, thank goodness, but when it's bad, it's bad. Mine seems to very weather driven. Right now we're in this period of a bit of rain, pretty much daily, for the next week or so, and that aggravates things! Not sure if I'm a total "messy", but I'm definitely not a neat freak, by any means. And some days, even vacuuming one room is too much for my back. Doesn't help that my husband seems to love clutter! I finally get a space cleared off, and he finds a way to fill it back up again. He does help more than he used to since he retired a few years ago. But let's just say cleaning is not a high priority for him. Basically on days when I'm not hurting I try to get more done. But then have to be sure not to overdo it. Anyway you have given me some inspiration, and I'm so impressed by what you did. Do rest often!! And yeah, I totally get the not wanting to invite people over, because it just feels like too much to get it to what it feels like would be their standards! Pat yourself on the back, though, you did well!!

Wow Roxanne! You did a wonderful job for just 20 minutes! That’s a great start! I can start on cleaning a closet out and it takes me forever, because I start looking at pictures, etc., lol! You are doing an amazing job, you got this girl! 🙌😘
@@diannewelch8380 oh, don’t start with your closet, you will get so depressed, lol. When I look at my clothes I still think I will fit in my size 10 again. Who am I kidding. Clothes are the hardest things to let go of, they are personal. Start with small areas Roxanne and work your way to bigger projects. Here is one way to do it. In your bath, take everything out and put on a folding table or something. Make 3 piles; pile 1: I use these products everyday. pile 2: I use these products once a week. Pile 3: I use these products once a month or longer. Now you declutter starting with Pile 3. If there is something you don’t even use once a month, get rid of it, store somewhere else maybe in the garage. Get pile 3 down to practically nothing. Now start with Pile 1 and put products away making sure they are easy to get to, that way you are more apt to put them away then leave them out. Good Luck I know it’s easier to talk about then actually doing it
Well, first of all, you are down on the floor. I can’t do that any more. I am an organized fool, let me help you. I do have a cleaning lady once a month. They concentrate on floors and things down low that I can’t do anymore. I pay $140 a month for 1200 sq ft. Also part of your problem might be depression, which I suffer from, also I am a morning person, if I don’t do it in the morning it doesn’t get done. More thought lets do coffee
I had a cleaning lady for a couple months but it's just not something I can afford now. Send me a message and we'll go get coffee sometime now that I'm no longer working.
Wow, so beautiful! And I love all the green. I've always heard it's that way, up in the mountains of AZ. But I've only been in Tucson, and on the main highway going East and West, while going through the state. And I've been to the Grand Canyon, once, many years ago. Thanks for showing us around up there!
