Mannn thank you! A plumber wanted to charge me 500 bucks to replace this tank. I watched your video, bought the tank and replaced it myself! 50 bucks worth of material, thank you !
Hi my water pressure is bad up in the bathroom 🚽 room can you connect a pressure vessel pump to the copper cylinder from down stairs. I’m so do I have to get hot water pipe and cold water pipe or is it just the hot water pipe I need to connect I know a bit about plumbing so I thinking off doing it myself Thanks
Thanks for sharing. One thing comes to mind after watching the video. If you used flex duct like you did, you could have used the already cut out area on your right that was patched up. That way, you do not have to squeeze it by the joist. Some areas require galvanized or solid metal ducts which make it hard to do but still doable with lots of work. Thanks again. The work looks nice.
Deleting windows and filling in with insulated walls is win. If you remove the windows from one wall, install a few smaller windows, and put exterior insulation on that wall, that is a large energy savings. If you can DIY that, the payback time is fast. No matter what window, they ALL are terrible at insulating vs an insulated wall. Stay gold.
Frost doesnt attach to the pier...moisture goes into the ground freezes and heaves the soil sofetening it as the soil thaws. Also a footer has at a minimum thumb rules if your not in a coded area for width and thickness
It works well, but like any sealant or glue or paint “you must clean the surface thoroughly and let it dry completely, ruff up the surface with sandpaper before applying”. If you had bad luck with this product assuredly you didn’t ruff up the surface, some containers are made of materials designed to not allow stuff to stick to them, like the plastic a bottle of super glue is made of. “Ruff up the surface at least”. 👍
For those who take the lesson from this video that you shouldn’t glue your durock to the subfloor, think again! Solely screwing your durock down can create a lot of issues, especially with the durock flexing, which can cause cracks in the tile, uncouple the tiles from the thinset, and cause grout cracking. Take it from a tile installler who’s had to fix jobs where I didn’t glue my durock down! Just do it right the first time and save everybody the trouble
Plumber wanted to charge me $450 for this, the tank itself is like $50 wow, sure glad I did not pay him for it, thanks so much for a great video explaining it in awesome detail
@@beefsteaxnope not what I’m saying at all, he has a business and i can either pay him to do it for about $350 or I can do it for the cost of my time and materials.
It’s really only takes an hour of work. When did plumbers get to charge $350/hr. I went to school for 12 years and people die if I screw up and I only get to charge $250/hr.
@@jonahgarrett7138 Parts, labor, PPE, vehicles, gas, insurance, rent, cocaine… all that stuff’s expensive. PS all that school and you never learned when to use a question mark, that’s why you can’t bill 350.
Short and sweet...same peoblem...for years! I had just begun to carefully measure the distance from the ceiling to each blade tip when I noticed that one of the fan brackets was causing that blade to be somewhat flatter. I GENTLY twisted the bracket by positioning my hands on either side of the blade at the point that the two outer screws held on the blade. Once I had that blade at an angle similar to the rest, I turned on the fan. Unexpected Success!!! Cost - $00.00 Time - 5 minutes Equipment - Ladder Problem Solved!!!
Bugs definitely go for the blue part of the spectrum, and I'm not sure how much blue/UV leaks through curly bulbs (UV light excites phosphor coating the inside of the glass). LED lights are similarly coated, but start with blue and not UV. 2700K is good, 2200K-2000K even better. Me, I just slapped in a GE dusk-to-dawn bulb, the all-glass ones. Not the usual photosensors that have a fixed on/off threshold, these seem to "learn" over time what's day/night, even on sunny vs cloudy days. I don't normally recommend actual brand names, but the GEs are actually quite nice, and better than the usual snow-cone bulbs.
Nice cause I want to make a deck but get this I was think of using a low profile bed frame and adding a thing wood base then put flex on it for waterproofing they cover it with fake grass or patio rug and patio chairs or something like that
My aerator is absolutely destroying my water pressure, i can barely even brush my teeth. I’ve removed it and it’s a huge improvement... for some reason this isn’t common knowledge and you don’t need a plumber.
Do not waste your money on this product. It is absolutely garbage. It did nothing to my roof. There was absolutely no results after four weeks. My wife called the company and they went on to tell her that there’s no guarantee well people. I guarantee you one thing it will not solve the problem as which they are saying, the product is garbage do not waste your time or money!
Yeah click bait “raw sewage”. and not to bright dipping the entire tank into the contaminated water this contaminating your PF filters and the bottom of the tank. Then tasting rather than testing first?
@@rafaelgomez1989 I think that groutless options like Dumawall require less maintenance so my personal preference is to go with the Dumawall over the porcelain options
I'm adding 3/8" paneling to an outer barn tackroom wall with an existing window. So there is a 3/8 inch difference between wall and window now. How do I do this
This is a great idea. I am going to try this on my painted chair backs before I try to sand them flush where they have been chipped. Thanks for the idea.😊
Big storm heading into Cape Town overnight, level 8. There's a leak in garage roof over electrical box. Cant get onto roof..ladder too short. Used spray to coat roof on inside...will edit post if it works or not tomorrow.
In Canada they are a life saver, I think if you have average to decent windows it's much less results so to speak. My rental has extremely drafty windows and the plastic did great. Also added insulated blinds ( great for hot summer ) as well thermal curtains ( also great for summer. ) I have no drafts and the heat bill as well gas consumption was very noticeable. These three things are fairly cheap to upgrade ish. Well worth it for long term rental
