If you're having trouble with a weird sphere being attached to the bottom of your model when it's exported, go to the bones menu and delete the bone labelled "icosphere". This should get rid if it.
Kinda sucks that people aren't willing to just ... pay artists ... for their work and time ... and skill. You know ... the thing that makes art impressive in the first place?
sometimes i miss ingen pso2 content, but then again with the state pso2 in i don't thing it has any content be made for it other than shitting it or hoping it xD
Thank you sooooo much, you're the best! I followed every step thoroughly and it worked perfectly for me. I'm only having some issues with Mixamo EDIT: omg it works now 😍for anyone who also couldn't use mixamo, I made a seperate fbx just for Mixamo that had "Apply Modifiers" and "Add Leaf Bones" re-selected (even though it was deselected for Bakin) and now I can finally put my OCs into Bakin with animations and everything 🥰 I love this a lot!!!
Using VROID's armature, it appears the model's neck is stiff and cannot be bent with mixamo's motions. For example, when using the runing, the model's head doesn't stay forward, instead, it shakes with the spine. This issue doesn't exist if I bind the model with mixamo's own skeleton (but mixamo can't bind five fingers correctly on vroid models)...
I had the same problem and managed to fix it with accurig + actorcore! (instead of using mixamo) it is so much more precise than the rigging with mixamo (it has way more "rig points") beware, it is harder to use because you have to do an extra quick fix with blender to avoid character laying on the floor but it is so worth it, I tried to solve this problem for litteral days (many trials and errors with accurig, I thought that it was not possible with this software but it is in fact possible, just convoluted) and now I'm so happy I managed to find a way that works! 🥲 If you do not manage to do it, I might do a step by step tutorial about this, but since it has many little steps, it might take a lot of time)
I tried following the video, but the program doesn't add materials to the model. When I try adding them myself, the colors are distorted. Can you help me?
for the colors, inside your textures folder inside Bakin, did you select all your textures tick the SRGB button ton ON (it is OFF by default, it helped me for the colors)
I plan on doing more eventually, based on what kind of problems I encounter in Bakin while working on my game. Most likely next video will be regarding enemy spawners / field enemy AI... or it could be an addendum to this video regarding VRM1.0, baked-in hair physics through Blender, and using custom animations from vrma files / VRM Posing Desktop. All depends on circumstances.
I’m so happy that I found your channel. This video was very helpful I can’t wait to see more video like this. But I wanted to ask can you turn the 3d vroid model into a 2d pixel model because I want to try to start off with 2d pixel design for my own game.😅 but I did though about using vroid models 🤔 but I want to draw my own models in 2d pixel style first then I will start using 3d models but I’m trying to start off easy.

It'll instead be for my game development project and RPG Developer Bakin videos, on a very sporadic basis. The main focus will be on my game, less so on content creation.
OMG! I love how you bring about Skies of Arcadia love. Then use Valua City's music as a bgm. Not even done watching yet, but had to comment. Thorough to the bone video! Thank you!
It would be nice if Sega does another 7 eleven colab but for NGS and for global. We do have 7 eleven in US and other countries. It shouldn't be too hard of a collab to get.
I have footage of the Final Fantasy 14 event on PSO2: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-d2ANBED5rpo.htmlsi=LkJzbWPowKtgJnCM It was for the release of the dark knight tank job in FF14 after killing Odin you would get Odin's sword and the level 60 dark knight gear.
This just highlights how disappointing NGS collabs have been. Bosses, cutscenes, proper concerts (not just ones we see on the monitor) LTQ's, Partner Cards, and much more. NGS collabs are not exciting at all, it's mostly nothing but "buy our stuff". The only collab we have had with any Sega ip so far is Sonic, but that always happens with every PSO game. We mostly just keep getting anime and Vtubers that I couldn't give a damn about. This is a big reason why players are struggling to connect with NGS, there's no soul put into the game, no incentive to buy into the collabs. It's just......empty.
