I discussed this in the video, it was strictly post game and how it was a pain to transfer pokemon from previous generations to Black and White. And most Pokemon from previous regions/generations are uncatchable within B/W. Regardless of that, B/W is a fantastic, if not perfect, game. One of the reason why B/W is amazing was because of limited pokedex forcing you to use pokemon you previously couldn’t/wouldn’t. I’m not insulting Generation 5, never have and never will. Dexit maybe awful but its existence added interesting gameplay additions!
@@asbed you needed to finish the game to unlock the transfer tool but you could still just trade over any Pokémon as soon as you unlocked c-gear. That lack of free trading is what defines dexit. It's also why Black and White "forcing you" to use only gen 5 is looked back on more foundly than Firered and Leafgreen's tradelocks. They both limit you until the postgame but FRLG's restrictions ere hardcoded into the game whereas with gen 5 if you really wanted to you could get a pikachu immediately You may not think you were insulting but comparing gen V to something horrible as dexit is really insulting in my opinion
Not having been promoted & having the same models that the Stadium games had was not good. 2 consoles went by yet the same unaltered models. The Wii was pretty bad with on-line too. Smogon is better with battle simulation
that is true but Fire Red and Leaf Green were remakes for the generation One Kanto games. SO technically they get a pass. but i do see your point and will agree with you
Another problem with Mega evolution is that you can't realistically give every pokemon a mega evolution. Not just is that an insane amount of work, even if you did it would remove the whole "coolness" of mega evolution. What people like about Mega evolution is the idea of their favorite pokemon getting one and the reason Gamefreak mostly gave these to already popular pokemon (those that actually need them the least) is because that is the best way to satisfy the most people. A big part of why megas where removed is because they where so exclusive to specific pokemon. All other mechanics where given to everyone, with some getting special treatment inside of that. Gigadynamax was basically Gamefreaks way of trying to bring back mega evolution in a diet way. Tho naturally everyone having the mechanic makes it less "cool", which loops back around to why people want mega evolution back in the first place.
i want to use the pikemon i like. limiting pokemon makes the gme boring. if you have to force ppl to use a pokemon. then they arent good to begin with.
I dont think limiting Pokemon makes the game boring, but i do see your point. The issue is, its becoming incredibly difficult to jam over a 1000+ pokemon including the new pokemon into a game. Plus every new pokemon game is a new journey, and using new pokemon on said journey is part of the game!

Also, I'm one of the few people who doesn't really care about dexit. I have more than 1 favourite Pokémon, I'm not gonna be affected by some of them not being physically in the game. (Unless they are an odd choice to leave out like psyduck or something)
The Mid is in reference to the cinematic against Eternatus. I rewatched the cinamatic and I saw how most of the cutscene was just Zacian and Zamazenta idling. I doubt they’ll ever remove psyduck, magikarp or pikachu
So happy someone recently like you mentioned this game! Something that isn’t known to many is that this game can be enjoyed even without the addition of the Gen 4 DS games since you can trade Rental Pokemon in Gateway Coliseum after you beat the game!
Fuse it with Stadium and make it like Fortnite, a game you download that constantly gets updates. ALL Pokémon should be available with all gimmicks/mechanics.
Yes. Or make it so that you can transfer your Pokemon from any game to the stadium where you can challenge anyone around the world. This way all games can help you Catch'em All and then utilize them in an online battle system. Gamefreak then does not have to worry about putting all the Pokemon in a game since the stadium is where you can have your selection.

It's my oppinion anyway, i do think the idea of a single Pokémon as a boss is way cooler than a trained in a Gym, i'm just glad they still exist in the form of Noble and Titan Pokémon, but Gyms aren't bad, just no big stuff to me.
What I hear most people want is to separate the Pokemon games into two games. one which is about a fun single player experience and the other being a battle simulator. i hope this happens
I can’t say this Legends is better. But Legends does have a story mode, fun side missions, and fun gameplay loop. While Battle Revolution is a Party game designed to be played with buddies on a sofa.
