While I agree with the govt for the infrastructure works they are doing I think they need to strongly look into the food and other essential needs that the poor class of Guyanese can afford I beleive the govt can help and must help so far the average person in Guyana is not seeing the benefits of the oil boom
That should be fields of organic Bora and other crops that can only be grown in Guyana. Fields of soybeans are non competitive on a global market since Brazil already has cornered that market. Guyana needs to expand its IT infrastructure and hire software engineers from overseas to speed up the creation of software development companies. Fields of soybeans don't benefit the Guyanese people, and the water and land are polluted with pesticides.
Choke and rob included! Nice kitchen faucet if you can get running water. Good ideas! But more aimed for the expats. Also no venting for the roof since it’s enclosed. Not good. Ministry of Housing in the housing business too.
I notice the guy who was frying the fish was using the same oil to fry the chips, is this standard in Guyana, also he uses his hand to put the ice in the glass, again should an ice scoop be used or this is also standard practice?
Philip, Please don't take offence..you need to watch your weight, l know that all the nice food is hard to ignore but just think about what it is doing to your health ..l'm pretty sure you're diabetic or borderline. Remember diabetes is know as the silent killer.
Look how foreign companies mess up and destroy this environment leaving all these uncover pits where instead should hav been recovered and trees planted back and we call this beautiful blue water lakes
Philip this is a great video. I didn't even know that Guyana produce soya bean. Guyana needs more factory like these to produce more products. Thank you for showcasing this amazing farm to us.

It’s nice to have all these products available in Guyana but what about skilled professionals who have to manage and maintain these facilities and machinery.I hope you are not buying these machines on loans.Did people remember the buses from India (Tata buses)thieves stole everything except the frames, they would need security in the night at these places so close to Brazil and Venezuela you never know.? If Soybean can grow then you can grow Flax seed which is good for colestrol and export marketing.
This must be an eye opener to all the people in the region to show that we can do a lot in the Caribbean if we just put our minds to it. I love this effort to reach the '25% by 2025' goal. It would be great to put the chicken feed factory right next to this plant that way you omit transportation cost. Also instead of working with a generator the posibility of windmills or solarpower should be considered.
Phillip, where you are, that's where the Dutch first settled in Guyana. They brought thousands of African slaves to plant cotton, making Guyana the world largest cotton producer in the 17th century. Nice Video. Big up❤
Quiet informative. This will make America nervous - China is the number one importer of soya beans in the world. Good for Guyana - China will take all the soya beans to avoid a trade war with the USA. Soya beans were first domesticated in China around 7000 BCE. Amazing - Philip good work. Great Content.
