KEEP IT UP GUYANA !!! AS A JAMAICAN I liked the competition you provided to us !!! IT SHOWS IF YOU ARE SERIOUS AND WORK HARD LIKE THE JAMAICAN ATHLETES THEN YOU TOO CAN EXCEL IN THIS GREAT SPORTS OF TRACK AND FIELD
Guyana is making huge progress in regional track and field. Keep building and support to get these youngsters to the next level. Co grats Guyana from 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
Thank you Dr. Philip for taking time to share with us. Congratulations to these young athletes whose capabilities are endless with great training and support through the paces. Cheers to our future Olympians🎉🎉🎉
Well said bantu-king . I always knew our athletes have the potential to do great things if the resources were in place for them ..congratulations to all the athletes & coaching staff job well done now we have to focus more in the swimming 🏊♀️ department we have some of the best swimmers 🏊♀️ in the Caribbean...
@leilasimon6081 as a Jamaican I like the sound of that come on with it, so that you know Jamaica didn't send their best athletes to the carifta games... They are saving some of them for the Penn relays and World U20 coming up later, and some of them were injured during the boys & girls champs... So be careful how you guys poke the Bears don't wake them up😂😂 Just imagine what the real Jamaican team look like they Soo good that they are running and training with the pro's .. You will also see them in a few months at the Jamaica Olympic trials, in a section called the Junior trials in June....b
@TrevorMurray-ycso you couldn't just give these athletes credit? You gotta low-key down play their beautiful performance? They broke at least three records, so your theory is shattered by those facts. C'mon, do better black people.
We Guyanese just like to joke. It’s not that serious. When we say we coming for Jamaica it’s in jest. Nothing serious. Believe me! We’re not a people to get too emotional over winning/losing. Just observe our athletes when they win and this truth would be obvious. We wish everybody the best and want the best for everyone.
We guyana can start doing far better if the government of Guyana start funding our athletes and not only the cricketers but in the other sports with training facilities and good coaches not just looking trying to impress duh media do whats right
Need a state of the art athletic stadium now and trading facilities. Stop talking and show the youths or else they will all leave and go overseas where they can be compensated.
Mr Minister, you do not need a JUSTIFICATION for money spent on sports..no SIR....investing in the youth is an INVESTMENT..stop this bull 💩and continue to support the youth and sports. Get your private sector involved but make it work boss man..and don't patronize!
Guyanese don't get carried away. Still no official Olympic medal, ( IN ANY SPORT, OR DISCIPLINE ), since 1980! - Those are the medals that REALLY matter! Remember that.
@@bysonchi Yes just keep practicing to win against the Jamaicans that's their best chance to go somewhere. I know it's not going to be easy, but keep on pushing even if they lose in a close race that's progress.. Guyana need to invest in good coaches, , in Jamaica some of the High school coaches can Coach any professional teams in the world...
