It’s not a lost art. I’m a tin/coppersmith of 45 years. Trouble is nobody want to pay for handcrafted anything.

The music and ambience made me feel as though I was in the 50's. These are the people who build the industrialized world. Too bad it is a lost art, for most purposes. Well done Mr. And Mrs., well done indeed.

I absolutely love bookbinding and I'd love to learn new techniques. I've always wanted to work in a bookbinding/book repair shop but there aren't any around me and I fear it's already died off for the most part since so many people use e-book products.

Its sad how utterly lost a lot of people are nowadays, I mean really detached from reality so fundamentally, that they would invoke such horseshit right? We are way to immersed in fiction nowadays! Goes for everything. Just because they are incompetent, doesn't mean our ancestors were and those who continue the craft...

Completely fake... you can compare the quality of the so call signature with the overall piece, you can tell that this guy isnt making this piece of art, it was actually done by the time this guy started to hit it in front of the camera... so pityful!

@@oldmanfromscenetwentyfour8164 That job is still alive (at least in Germany), nowadays we work more on roofs but we also learn to do stuff like in the video. I am glad i've learned that profession, I am 26 now.
