Well done vid👍 Game looks pretty rad. I'm not a fan of server wipes, but definitely interested in the overall aspect of Once Human. Might give it a go should that change in the future
Thanks m8, yea, me neither. I really hope they see that, and after the first season, when player numbers drop, they fix it. Because of the upcoming wipe, I lost a lot of interest to keep playing my character once hitting max level. Enjoyed the grind though, and got a ton of fun out of the game for $0.
I wouldn't recommend this game for any competitive play. PvE is nice, really relaxed, interesting maps. But PvP is really horrible because it's so unbalanced and some classes have very toxic mechanics which makes it extremely frustrating to go against other players who play them. If you want an MMO with a WoW feel but with better combat and slightly better graphics, this is for you. If you want to PvP, this is going to be a big let down and I would look somewhere else. Bear in mind that the grind in GW2 is insanely frustrating even in PvE. And the story is quite repetitive with the same type of end goal and types of missions and mechanics. Their last expansion was an epic fail, even the devs admitted it. But the game is free for Core maps, there is no subscription so there's that.
Only really experienced PVE myself, and I think I'd say I lean that way more in my overall play, so I can't really give my opinion on the PVP. Been enjoying the PVE so far though.
I'm glad you enjoyed the vid! And thanks for becoming a channel member. (: I'll get your name added to the member list and it'll be up on the next video.
Best PVP combat in the history of mmos. I tried going back to wow, i was a wow PVPer for 15-16 years and it felt so outdated , flat and lame after New world. But unfortunately there's nothing more in this game that its addicting combat
Too bad NW devs can't even figure out what genre of game it is or they are simply misleading people into thinking it is now an action RPG that you can play with friends. What kind of idiot statement is that? They are just trying to make a buck off of a dying project. Simply stupid. Go play TnL instead. LOL there is a free open beta right now that is super fun.
A few ideas they could do, Diablo 2 does have permanent characters, pretty sure they get the seasonal content when the next season drops. They could transferr us to a new zone with our stuff and we just have to move our base, or keep our supplies but have to rebuild even.
As much as I appreciate the game, even agree with you on how fun it is, but, the bugs that have destroyed the territory system currently is game breaking.
Played Wow for years and even spent a good amout of time in Rift (I know). I've been out of gaming for a few years and now I'm looking for a main. GW2 is currently at the top of my short list, but I'm struggling with the mount situation, or at least how I perceive it to be considering I've never played.
AGS can learn so much from Once Human. At first glance it doesn't seem like it but New World and Once Human have a ton of similarities. I enjoy Once human WAY more and have actually been playing it a ton lately. Haven't touched New World in weeks.
Lol. First major patch and half our bases are missing in OH. Don't think AGS needs to learn anything here. I really like OH but New World is far more polished of a game in comparison.
@@heartless_gamer I have yet to have anything missing in OH. I did however live through gold exploits in New World when many players got very rich and never banned.
@@CascadenTV Just my opinion but I never saw any evidence the dupes did anything to New World aside from having to deal when they locked trading. Everyone I know that duped was permanently banned. Also the dupes were not as widespread as they get made out to be. The markets were locked. Trading was locked. There was never a flood of the duped items evident in any fashion. This isn't to say the dupes were not a black eye for the game and AGS but I've yet to play a MMO that hasn't had dupe issues. New World is one of the few where they were even publicly acknowledged let alone took steps to prevent them impacting the wider game. AGS basically gets too much crap for being a responsible developer.
@@heartless_gamer Thanks for educating me. I didn't think New World was anywhere near good enough to have fan boys but I guess anyone can be bias and/or ignorant enough.
all i rem from this game since launch was... "oh fck new patch is out.. what did they fck up this time " :D we had so many duping issues and they stopped market and trading for 3 week straight. but once we had glitch where we could farm rare resources at a place but that was fixed in about 2 hrs. oh and bots were everywhere. i think at that point i felt this game was irredeemable.
As a 8 year casual player (on and off) Heck yes! New expansion at August 24th with gorgeous Nordic inspired nature zones and the best housing system in an MMO arriving! ;)
Been playing since beta and the trick to not getting burnout is to play it casually. Take your time and play it the way you want. There are no pressures with item fomo as well. Its how u build your character and how you play is what matters.
My main problem with GW2 is that I have characters created back in Beta taking all the slots. Logging back in after so many years is so overwhelming, there is just too much happening on the screen. And there are no slots to create a new character from scratch because those are limited :(
Hello, so me and a few friends are thinking about restarting New world (on one hand cause of your vid) we used to play in the early weeks of the release waaaay back November 2021, so yea we are max lvl with good gear (for this time), so now to the question : Should we just start new Charakters ? What are u guys suggestioning ?
You'll for sure enjoy it. Max level is actually 65 now though, after you get the expansion. If you plan on getting the expansion, which I think is kinda a must, cuz having artifacts and mounts will make things so much better, you should for sure look at getting it asap, last I checked it was on sale. As for new characters, I don't think it's needed. I would go in with your old characters, and get right into the new zone Brimstone Sands. It's an awesome desert zone, and it will unlock for you eventually something called heartrune gems, which are like ultimate abilities. Then you can start farming for the one you want to use and max it out. Oh, but first, if you're getting the expansion, for sure go get your mount asap, and start slowly leveling them up, to get they faster, as it'll speed up your questing by a ton. After Brim, I'd head to the newest zone, the Elysian Wilds, and start grinding for artifacts. They're a ton of fun. Basically, really strong weapons/armor/jewelry that completely change the way you play, and define you build. Like for example, there's a great-axe that scales with int, so you can make a really cool mage build with a fire staff and great axe that has so much mobility and power, it's a ton of fun. There's videos on my channel on how to get every artifact if you guys need. That'll consume your a good chunk of your time as you make your build and finish off your characters. Now, if you want to experience the new story they put into the game, I would hold off until console release in October, and make a new character in the fresh start console worlds to experience that. You'll get that awesome experience of playing the game at launch, with all the new and excited console players, plus with the release, there will be bear mounts added, and new cut-scenes in the story that just make the whole experience all the better. From there I'd run through the story and experience it. That's what I would do, you'll get kind of the best of both worlds. Hope it helps. (:
@@NewbWorld Thanks for the answer, we are trying to get a few friends to also try the game again and we all might even restart (even before oktober) so we can all play for the same Faction and on the same server :)) hope it is as good as it seems in your vids, will look forward to ur other videos Hope we meet soon ingame
Thx m8, got a couple of videos in mind, just been sick for a week, so really threw me off my rhythm. Trying to get caught back up with work, and videos, and things around the house. 😂
Get a bow and a hatchet, forget about the turrets and cauldron. Just reinforce the gates, build the spawn point and gather resources to place them inside the fort. If 1-3 players are sieging, repair the doors and laugh while everyone swears at you. Occasionally reign death from above with your bow. Enjoy
I think I am going to give BDO a try again on the PC. I tried many times on console, but couldn't get into it. Maybe just because the controls felt weird.
@@NewbWorld i actually prefer on controller, i use it on pc for regular grinding. You can try it out, it is best action mmo for solo play at least, and even pvp can get fun... really poor team pve content though. It is also very gatcha, but i know tons of players who do not get lured on spending money... spending money often makes you waste money, its not guarantee gain and very expensive compared to simply grinding:)
One of the Greatest things about GW2 is how easy it is to take a break from the game. Because Level 80 is the cap, and the gear doesnt get statistically better than Ascended, youll find your account waiting and ready for content when you get back from doing / playing something else.
Yea, more games need to do that. Breaks from MMOs are very healthy, and prevents players from getting burnt out, and eventually hating the game they play. Too many games you don't want to come back to and try again because you know all your previous progress will be useless, and you have no idea where to start off again.
Been playing for 7 months now and can only recommend it. You just have to find out what you want to do first and set yourself a path. Then its very enjoyable to play. I would also recommend buying the living world seasons. They add alot of story that give the main story more depth. Season 4 was the best of them in my opinion.
Yea, I am very much a goal oriented MMO player, love playing through the map completion, wish it was possible to get mounts a bit earlier on without DLC to help with that though.
I tried the game a while back, as it's been hard to find something good to play. I'm an MMORPG veteran. However, my experience wasn't amazing. I tried the early game, but it felt really boring and old in a way, perhaps I should give it another try and see how the endgame plays out.
A lot of people tell me graphically it get's a lot better later on, in the more mid to end game zones, so if that's holding you back, maybe try push through. Or try out a different class, some feel more fun than others.
Back when the game released i had so much fun playing it Casually, but that i mean i took my sweet ass time to progress the story, i was very hooked with chopping trees, mining, crafting and cooking 2 bad i cant find a similar game to new world i do like the combat since it doesnt have many skils like wow has too much for me
Exactly how I feel. All these games with 2 bars of 20 skills, it's too much to learn, too much to remember, I don't have the time. Plus the gather skills are phenomenal.
