So often the chaps that wear the headgear are called hookers. A scrum is the pushing thing which is awarded as a penalty. The hookers centre of the scrum and his ears will get what's called cauliflower ear. The headgear stops that from happening but is in no way contact protection. You get hit in the head and it offers f all. Some people will play hooker and don't wear the headgear. Other players other than the hooker may wear em to stop getting wrecked ears.
“Where the Byrd at?” 😂 I’d be shouting: “Where’s Trooper Jessica McCord when you need her?” I know Byrd does racing car driving. If Trooper McCord doesn’t, I’ll eat my hat! 😂 Hearing you say that was proof you watch tons of USA law enforcement pursuit videos, like me! 🤣 The one big difference between U.K. and USA is you’ll sometimes hear LEOs ask for permission to P.I.T. depending on the state and agency’s policies but, most states just allow the officer to decide for themselves. In England, they always need permission to do a T.V.I. I also noted your comment about the officer saying “back” instead of stomach! I watched a video yesterday and in it the LEO said “back” instead of stomach, too. The power of *adrenaline* compels them! It’s not like either suspect were complying and if we were doing that job we’d get the odd word wrong even when it matters most. A lot of people underestimate the way adrenaline affects officers like laboured breathing after a pursuit. Btw, that kid is not a typical example of how English people speak, with his version of hurt pronounced as “‘urt”! 🤣
"Bit between his teeth" - a racehorse who seizes the bit in his back teeth thus stopping the jockey from steering or stopping him - and takes off flat out!
#averagelarry I’m a quadriplegic and think you need to check out quad rugby aka ‘murderball’ sometime. I played with the Denver Harlequins. For instance, one guy got hit so hard in a game it threw him out of the chair so hard he cracked 3 ribs. Marc Zupan even did a movie 20 yrs ago called Murderball. Check it out and tag me. Peace
If you're drunk and behind the wheel of a car you should be immediately charged with being in possession of a dangerous weapon. If you're drunk and behind the wheel and you have passengers, you should be charged with being in possession of a deadly weapon and also charged with attempted murder. I am tired of giving drunk drivers an "excuse"
The police stopped me all the time for no reason other than they're bored or are looking for something to do, I just told them I was Charles Dickinson or something random
The conversion (field goal) is taken anywhere on a line back from the point the ball touches down. That is why it's kicked at an angle, and why players try to touch it down between the posts, for a simple kick. If it's touched down in the corner, you have to go much further back to widen the relative distance between the uprights.
Interesting point about being able to drive a German car. BMW are not selling their cars to UK police anymore as they have admitted their Engines are not strong/ robust enough. The police are switching to Volvo's and also Peugeot's!
This is old, but that thing with the drunk driver who ran from the car actually happened to me, except I was working on a train that hit the car when the driver tried driving around the barriers at a level crossing. Car went flying, we were sure anyone inside was dead, conductor went out to check... car was totally empty. They were wasted, slithered out of the car and made a run for it- cops found them trying to hide in a nearby housing development. It's wild to encounter that in person.
These are seasoned officers, you get the young ones and they will pick you apart for any reason they can because they are trying to brown nose the way up the food chain. Coppers years ago would pull you to the side and give you a ticking off, but these new coppers are absolutely useless they let the thieving toe rags ride around on stolen motorcycles, no plates, no helmets all day everyday. The kids can not go over to the park because they are literally riding in the kids play area and tearing up the football pitch. Yet me and my 22-year-old son ride around on bmx's getting pulled over for nothing? The police see the kids riding on the road, three people to one motorbike and they do absolutely fook all. They are like a horse with blinkers on and ignore everything illegal that involves leg work. When I was a kid the police would have knocked you off the bike chased you down and jumped on you literally and then prosecuted you for everything they possibly could. Welcome to Essex?
Not wanting to contradict 'Shaun of the Dead' or 'Superman', "nob" without the 'k' at the beginning is an historical slang term for the human head, and appears as such in a number of Shakespearian plays.
Two of the English Idioms you've had commented on here are "Bog Standard" and "Dog's Bollocks" - there's a probable? (possible) origin for each of these: In the early days of production for a well known 'construction toy', (certainly not LEGO, and I'll insist that I didn't suggest it was Meccano! What Me? ) the toy came in two different sets. The basic set was labelled "Box Standard" and the more expensive, more sophisticated set was labelled "Box Deluxe". Over time this situation gave birth to two English phrases: 1) Something that was just enough, but with nothing really special about it, became described as being "Bog Standard" (from "Box Standard",) 2) Something that was exceptional, and well above the quality you would normally expect, began to be descibed as the "Dogs Bollox" or "Dog's Bollocks" (a spoonerism of "Box Deluxe"!)
You just rammed me of my bike. No sir we tactical contacted you off it. 7:49 He came down on those bricks like a tonne of bricks. Shoutout to the British police scooter bowling teams.
That family are total scum, do not care about the landlord they welched on. Poor lady not only lost out several months on rent but had to spend loads going to high court and getting them evicted.
doubt its the video mate, must have been something else going on at the same time on your PC that involved the GPU. My 4080 is at 8% whilst running this video on 1080p60 Same as every other video I watch, give or take 5%.
