Love the bike it certainly looks the business. Love the team, your speaking to the choir, I got a SL Ez disc on my Tri bike and a NRG chain love them both. But I’m only 5k short on buying a reaper ❤
@@TriathlonDan that’s awesome it would be great to hear how it compares to other bikes. I know it’s had the backing of some big names, Jason Kenny Tom Bishop, GTB, Ed Clancy.
Glad to see you are back on the bike with just a couple days off. Your power was probably just down from dead legs after the ride and crash. Even Roglic had a poor stage 8 in the Dalphane after stacking it twice. Hope the X-ray results are positive
It's been a while since I watched one of these. Some absolute classics in this one. I was in stitches from the start with the post. Hope the appointment goes well.
I have had a similar problem with wrist fracture and bruised thumb after a fall bloody painful, ibuprofen and try and limit the use is the only way.. Hope you recover well.
Ahh sorry to hear it! I’m back at the hosp next week so hopefully some more solid answers then, but it stopped me swimming last night, doesn’t feel right on either side :(
Hahaha don't feel too bad! It's been getting better day by day, but there's something wrong with the outside of my left hand. Back at the hospital next week :D
I’m sending up the good vibes for you. Hope it is basic and you can still do all the good stuff this summer. Life is going well, training going well for me my friend.
Last time it's running... :( man looked so much fun. You got off easy, last time I aimed for Paris I hit a curb on a cycleway at the wrong angle, came off and bent my hanger! So all the sightseeing hotspots in Paris still remain on my bucket list.
Well am chuffed to compare your 100 mile time with mine, I managed to cover 100 miles today in 6hr 17 mins elapsed - one quick stop for a pee - super efficient, eating and drinking on the move no time to stop. Just wish I had 50/34 gear again as I could go faster, my Sonder has 46/32 up front thanks to AB and currently a 30T cassette (usually a 34T), I pretty much have gearing that allows me to ride an endurance pace "forever" and get up almost any hill - which means I often spin out easier.
Hey Dan great vid. I was wondering what you would have to buy/find to be able to get a 34 or larger cassette for climbing steep hills? I splurged and got a felt IA but I live in a super hilly area so i am finding my 1- 28 to be a bit challenging on the super steep hills.
I can get a 30T on this mech, you'd need one of the newer AXS groupsets that can take a bigger cassette, but I'd just get an 11-30 and get a smaller crank if it's hilly, like a 50/34 :)
I’ve done UK to Belgium a few times via a couple of different routes. I think you made the right bike choice-comfort! These rides are rarely quick, a lot of sitting up Good luck & enjoy 👌
Sweet can’t wait to see the new bike in a couple of months❤. I think I’m another an old steel Bridgestone for my mountain assent and Randonneuring in August if it works out I’m going to strip it down and give her the full service.
@@davtwill531 it’s second hand and it is what I actually want hence why I bought it😂👍 how come people buy 12 grand s-works tarmacs and get 0 flack, this whole build is going to be around 2k🤷♂️
