“For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age,” Titus 2:11-12
I stopped cussing about 2 months ago. I do slip but it’s once in a blue moon. I really just started thinking before I spoke. I stayed praying to God and over time my tongue changed. It’s all about the mind frame and that my friend is self control.
I really need this I've been swearing my life as I heard it my whole childhood growing up and I'm 39 now it's actually embarrassing and I really need to stop it please prey for me with that. ✝️🙏✝️
🙏 Hallelujah 🙏 thank you for your time Phil 😊 🙏 you are my hero!!! I look up to you 😌 my Dad wasn't "available" so I left home at 13 years old. I think about my kids being on the street at that age and I cry! I survived Detroit with God 🙏 I am a miracle and so are you and your entire family 🙏
I have been telling myself that I cuss too much and pray for Jesus to help me stop.It seems a common problem of today and it shames me all the time.As a 70 year old I should know better.
I heard someone say once that the 3rd time Peter denied Christ he cursed. He was doing everything in his power to distance himself from Christ and we are doing the same thing when we cuss
Curse words have always been linked to some form of filth, perversion and bad attitude originating from all over the world over the centuries. There’s no wholesome speech in cursing.
I love listening to him. He truly loves God and it definitely shows. I was a potty mouth big time but I made a conscious decision to stop. I'm doing better but when I get angry, I fail miserably.
Train yourself not to be quick to speak.and that will help.because usually when you swear it's impulsive.learning not to be impulsive will help in alot of ways.
Profanity is a bad habit that I didn’t give much thought until a fellow Christian colleague tell me would I talk that way around Jesus? Real eye opener Think before speaking Makes a difference!
Someone said to me one day, “I didn’t know you were a Christian.” Man, that hit me hard. If people can’t tell that I’m a Christian am I really a Christian at all?
