Hey everyone and welcome to my channel! Here I'll be sharing my views on the cruise ships I've been and any hints or tips I've picked up along the way! I'm active on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram too!
It doesn't matter if you're looking to book your first cruise or you're a cruise veteran, there's always new ships to see!
Cruises on; P&O Oriana , Britannia , Azura, Aurora and Oceana
Ship Visits to; Silver Cloud, Crown Princess and Nieuw Statendam
Re Smoking on Balcony, I don't smoke, but I also wouldn't complain about the smell of smoke, whilst I'm outside 🤫 Why would you complain about such a small issue ? What next the sea smells too salty ? People are outside, let them enjoy the cruise, without snowflakes intervention.
Totally agree about promenade deck importance, you should try queen Victoria /Elizabeth /mary for promenade decks! Cunards brand new quuen anne has a TERRIBLE promdeck this is a MAJOR mistake. Fred olsen like a mini cunarder
Thank you, Matthew, for the tour of this beautiful liner. Living in Australia, I'll never get to cruise on her as Cunard, sadly, are pulling out of the Australian market. I have to say, the Queen Elizabeth is still my favourite.
We have recently come back from a cruise on QM2. She has not changed dramatically following her refit. Thanks for showing us around again. Lisa is going on Aurora this week so she is popping off to watch that video now! 😂👍
Sailing on the QM2 at the end of July and could not be more excited! It's a rather unique itinerary, as we'll be going from NY to Boston (overnight) and Halifax (also an overnight). I'm extremely excited to enjoy this ship!
Off on Ventura soon and the mil booked us on it with them (we are still paying). Told it was a balcony room and turns out it's an indoor cabin. Looks depressing and dated (no offence to your video) compared to Britannia and Iona.so I'm considering not going now. £300 to upgrade to a balcony room.
@@CruisingWithMatthew , It's a silly rule, example it's 10pm at night, so from our suite, we have showered, now we have to get dressed to go to the upper desk to have a cigarette, I don't smoke myself, however my wife does, hence the reason we always select a suite.
Love your video we have booked a inside cabin looking forward to going on the Ventura. Didn't no they did afternoon tea in the mdr. Can you tell me if they have a adult only pool area like the arvia 😊
Thank you so much! They did at the time but it may have been stopped so I'd make sure to double check when onboard! Yes they do its right at the front of the ship - The Oasis Pool
I literally realise why I’ve never Cruised! I’m surprising my wife in October. Athens to Athens. We’re on the Silloiutte. Every Vlog I’ve watched are soooo boring!
And I have the Princess plus could you tell me what restaurants and stuff is included please because I want to be prepared on the cruise and what other stuff is extra and I have to pay for please!

Hey there - entertainment is first come first served in the Theatre and the sanctuary is bookable as soon as you get onboard. You'll just need to head up there after you embark 🚢
Thank you for all the details on dairy free and how Virgin should make accommodations the day before. I am vegan pescatarian, so I really appreciate your giving lots of comments about making things go smoother. Thanks for letting me know about the vegan pizza good focal point,.😊😊
Thank you, really enjoyed this video. Was hoping to be able to see the fitness areas and gym, but thank you anyway. excellent narration - better than most
Hi Matthew, I've just watched your video of MS Balmoral 😀 I've just been on my very first cruise, which was on MS Bolette and thoroughly enjoyed every moment! I'm booked on MS Balmoral next year, so found your video very interesting, I really liked Bolette. 2026 I'm booked on MS Borealis, so it will be interesting to see what that is like? I enjoyed everything about my cruise, the staff were lovely and very attentive, this was also my first holiday travelling as a solo traveller and I felt really at home ❤
So glad you really enjoyed yourself! She is quite different in comparison to Bolette and Borealis but you'll have the same friendly Fred Olsen crew and you'll have a great time I'm sure!
Sailed her sister, Discovery Princess, to Alaska last year. A beautiful ship, but a subpar design to be sending to Alaska it was inferior in almost every way to most of Holland America’s ships.
