Join me as I introduce my new series, Ship Spotting! In these videos, I'll share some footage I've captured of various cruise ships I've come across during my travels.
For today's video, I'll show you Fred Olsen's Bolette, which we saw in Dover whilst we were docking onboard her sister ship Balmoral!
I hope you enjoy this more relaxed video as you take in the views of Bolette.

Interestingly, I can actually see Bollete from my sitting room window here in Falmouth UK. She came into the harbour last Friday evening and is here in dry dock for maintenance. A lovely traditional style cruise ship.

Matthew, Lucy and I were on Bolette’s maiden voyage in Aug ‘21. Dover Port sent us off with fireworks. I felt as if we were on a page of history. June

We sail on Bolette in just a few days time. She will sail into the Med, but the final port will be Funchal in Madeira, and hoping that will be a highlight for a "sister ship meet". All 3 Fred Olson ships will be in port with special doo's going off on the key side, and we can tour each others ships. We've been on Balmoral several years ago, and it was great. Hoping to see it refurbished since then. Just hope The Bay of Biscay is kind to us.

Funny you should say that as we're on the same cruise! I'm hoping it's not too choppy too 😂
