Fun Review. I sort of thought the reason for using the pen tips was to avoid having to use a screen protector / but the tips would reproduce the feeling of drawing on paper or giving friction at least.
I honestly thought you simply missed it on their website. No way they would discontinue this stand, it’s fantastic. But you’re right, can’t find it anywhere… 😞 Edit to clarify: the stand is/was from PenTips.
Use a butter knife, did this exact same thing with one tool, just pry the base out enough that the tab is hitting the plastic box, eventually and honestly not that much time it just pops the tab right off. In a fashion that you could use gorilla glue and not a soul would known I broke into the box 👀
I actually figured out how to break in the Ksafe in a way how you can fix the box afterwards but it only works if one of the pieces locking the cage is on the side where you can change the batteries and if you have something in the box that you can take from a small gap when lifting the box (for me the other side of the box didn't come off even when I lifted the lid from the other side). You need to open the battery box, take out the batteries and then take something you can saw the box with. I didn't have any kind of proper saw so I just used serrated kitchen knife. Then I saw out the piece that was drilled from the box in the video (I actually got inspired from this video how to do it in the way I did). After that you can lift the lid from the other side a little bit and like I said if you have something in the box that you can take from a little gap then you can snatch what ever is in the box you need/want with your fingers. Keep the piece that you just sawed from the box and glue it with super glue back on. Then you technically have still unbroken box.
Yeah that has been a big reason why I didn't break my boxes for years. Today I just went fuck it I'll break it in a way that you can glue the box back together and ordered a new box just in case (now I'll have 3 but one of the boxes is a little bit damaged but luckily it still will get the job done). I will never be breaking my boxes again. The disappointment that you feel towards yourself after breaking a box is another reason not to break it. I feel horrible that I broke something that I value and something that is expensive. So to anyone thinking about breaking their box... Please don't do it. It's never going to be worth it. And you have bought the box for a reason so it defeats the purpose if you end up breaking it. Best of luck to everyone, stay strong! ❤

Lol can't believe this is the first time I am using this box and already on day 1 after coming home from work I google if there is a way to open this thing just for fun cause the company goes a lot on about how it can't be done. and BAM first result is this vid 🤣🤣
Personally, I prefer the PenMat because it’s removable. I would remove the PenMat if I’m using the PenTips 2. I would avoid using the PenTips 2 with any paperlike screen protector.
great video, never thought about attaching PD plate to L-bracket. - a trick where to locate the red PD handles (above through the hole, inside the left side bracket ?) - is the standard/old 3660 compatible with recent a7rv ? it seems so but poorly documented on smallrig website promoting now the foldable one. - by the way is smallrig foldable L-bracket for a7rv stable on tripod with all moving parts and screws ? - any experience combining L-bracket with tethertools cable (straight or right angle) ? I have seen TT has a L-bracket adapter but so huge !
Thx! I can’t comment on the new foldable L-bracket, I haven’t tried it. Running cables are not a problem as long as you’re horizontal. If you want to run cables in vertical, an angled would be best. You might be able to get away with a straight one if you extend the side mount, but it would increase the chance of micromovements. I don’t know if the A7RV would fit. The bodies are very similar, but not perfectly.
I guess we're talking drugs here primarily... I dunno, if somebody lacks so much control that they feel the need to go to such extremes, maybe they should just stop altogether.

I’d say it’s still in very good condition. I’m a moderate user, so about 1-2 times a week for sketching. By the looks of it, I won’t have to buy another one for a few years. I had my Bellmond on for 3 years, with near daily use, and since you can deduct all daily use by removing the Penmat, it should last longer. Unless the magnets start acting up, but so far, they’re good.
I guess the internet is a vast and dark place, and we’re just a small campfire now. But for every wanderer that stumbles out from the darkness we throw in another log. 🥳 I tend to use the Penmat screen protector as a default, and since it doesn’t go together with the Pentips 2, they don’t see as much use. But there are times when I prefer to just have a Pentips 2 on, and not have to worry about where I put my Penmat when I remove it. Like when traveling. HELP!!! I love mine but time froze !!!! Its not the batteries idk what it is 😢 I wanted to have a look at the circuit but it's so hard to get into without damaging the lid case. any tip? or any way of getting into the circuit without damaging the casing too much? I actually broke in without any drilling (just like, stretched the base plastic on one way until the slab was out of the hole and raised the lid... its rigid plastic but its not completely rigid... ) so I can access the circuit if only I wasn't scared of breaking the whole lid lol I'd actually use the safe if it worked (to quit smoking! can't do it cold turkey lol need to do it progressively 😅😅😅) because breaking in its too much of a hussle + Id be judging myself for being pathetic... usually, if there is an obstacle to the urge that'll be enough for willpower to win the battle. but as I said... not working. help !!!
