We fuckin NEED a Berserk Souls game. Y'all can't tell me they weren't inspired by the series and the constant bs thrown at our man Guts' way, so it'd be incredible to see it come full circle. Also yeah I'd like to see more anime fighters take unique approaches Luke the Ultimate Ninja games and delve more into being platform fighters (ofc they still need effort to be gud)
My biggest problem with bosses is some of them have attacks are so incredibly hard and placement specific. For example Malenia has an attack where she does 3 quick slashes, the problem is you little time to react to get out of her range because if u decide to dodge, the first 2 are easy to dodge, but the third one is impossible to dodge since u dont have time to recover from your roll and h dont have s any more. Same thing with margit. If ur not out of range you can’t manoeuvre between attacks and damage is inevitable.
Its definitely not for everyone but I would recommend checking out Super Dragon Ball Heroes World Mission, I picked it up during a sale earlier this year and its honestly been one of my favorite anime games ever. Its technically a card collector but your deck is 7 cards which are your characters, the combat revolves around QTE's which decide whether an attack hits or is blocked which could get repetitive but so far I have not had an issue. Based on DBH the game has all kinds of what if characters eg. SS3 Raditz, SS4 Gohan etc. but you can still keep to the older characters if you dont care for that. Lastly there is a ton of content built in plus you can make your own cards and missions for even more replayability.

I watched AoT in dub and I was genuinely horrified as to why sub Armin was getting the Naruto treatment. It's fine with a guy near 13 years of age, but why the heck is a 15, 19 (Armin) or a middleaged man (Naruto) being voiced by a girl. Please. That's plain weird
None of you know the pain of hearing that an anime is getting an openworld survival game (Made in Abyss) and it being absolutely dogmud. A buggy and badly feeling game.
I'm so late but Elden Ring is doing the same dumb thing Monster Hunter has recently. They make the bosses fly or retreat while spamming AoE projectiles when 90% of the weapons are melee weapons
See i didn't summon but i am no gatekeeper play the in whatever way you wish for and i am rooting for you But don't come bragging about beating margit at rl50 with summons and upgrade and try to shame me for fighting him at rl1 At least from the people i know there were who were juat full of themselves for beating bosses while overleveled and using summons ( some students from my class they were just using moonveils and rivers of blood while bragging about and shaming others who played in a harder or a different way ) I just enjoy the game in the first 4 to 6 playthroughs normally then sl 1 just to see if i am good enough This isn't even my first souls game i played these games while elden ring had it's first trailer in 2019 and enjoyed all of them without summoning and i didn't care how others played everyone should play to enjoy these games
The problem with Anime games are most of em are cash grab and hoping for the popularity of the anime to make people to buy their game and the alternatives for Anime-stylized games was Gacha games which is also far more terrible. You could argue with _"actually you could play the game without spending"_ well that's the bait in exchange of your Time and Sanity plus if you want to degrade your sanity far more, just join their community.
It doesn't matter if you outsource everything you still released the product so you either knew it was terrible or didn't check and both are really bad.
I thought I was the only one who noticed that literally anything with an endurance bar thats somehow hard is getting called soulslike or souls clone even tho that idea existed years before the first souls game
A JJK RPG in the style of the Naruto: Path of the Ninja would work so well. Imagine the fight between Hanami vs Yuji and Todo, when Todo claps he could switch spots on the grid with Yuji. Or when Dagon uses his domain expansions the feild splits between the ocean and the beach, and sea creatures apprear on the enemy side of the screen.
For me it solidus snake/Sen.Armstrong from MGS/MGR. you're telling the world is run by a secret society and no one could seize their own destinies, you cant overthrow them w/o the cost of the unaware and innocent lives so they get labeled as terrorists and get taken out by pawns of the secrets society even though solid snake/raiden spout on about not being tools for the government. To what protect the weak and maintain the status quo.

The probe with summons is theres haters on both sides. Do whats fun for you. If you like destroying bosses and watching their health melt while your clone tanks hits for you do that, if you like the challenge dont summon. Dont listen to haters listen to your brain
It’s a formula they have the ingredients for. They just have to piece them together. Mystery Dungeons story telling, Legends Arceus gameplay, Battle Revolutions animations and charm and HG/SS content quality. Also don’t make it run on a potato.
Disagree with your point about humanoid pokemon, machoke gets away with it because he's a fighting type. And people are getting fed up of their starter becoming a humanoid "friend", you can see the trend of the "monster" design disappearing for starters. They start becoming pokemon with jobs instead of creatures you can see living in a cave, tell me can you see a scorbunny living in the wild? Or is it easier to see a typhlosion being an animal? It's absolutely crazy. I've watched every dark souls title on youtube, but elden ring is the firsr i played myself (I'm still not very far). I have a lot of fun, and most bosses so far have been very enjoyable. Difficult, sure, but actually every one so far has felt nice amd challenging. Except the two burial watchdogs. That fight frustrated me to no end, that i actually gave up. There is a version where you fight only one and a bunch of smaller imps, and that one was... fine? I think i was a bit overlevelled, bc when i playey again with my gf we got absolutle demolished for easily 100 tries. In any case, you have two bosses in a TINY room where the camera isn't doing you any favours already, and both bosses are constantly attacking, the moment one of them does the fire breath attack is the only time you can reliable get a few hits on the other but that attack is so rare (from my experience) that you're really just dodging for 10 minutes and hope to get a single hit in once or twice until you inevitably misjudge an attack and get beaten to a pulp by both of them.
Mk Armageddon AKA mk7 in the story had the fighting like Tekken in the regard of going to the side aswell though some areas had a weapon you could grab and use
