Hello. 1. There are 4 frequency channels you can use. 2. Max. 100 Transmitters can be paired with a receiver with a unique ID allowing N:1 communication.
Great video! I'm just wondering, would this module be a good fit for use as a tracking becon? I intend to use it in conjunction with a GPS/SMS tracking solution, but I want to hone in locally with a directional antenna. Do you think this module would provide decent enough range/be suitable with the right antenna for that purpose?
Thank you for your question. Yes, the modules in the video are 434 MHz narrowband transmitter and receiver so the CDP-TX-07MP (transmitter) can be used as a tracking beacon when using directional antenna.
I would like to apply this kind of transmission to another application which required upto 20 channels, two ways tránsmitter/rêciver, high speed (50ms per each channel). Can you please advise?
Dear Le Duc, Unfortunately, I don't think these modules would satisfy your requirements. If you want to send 20ch signal, you would probably need to use external controller and send it as serial data using radio.
Hello Akshay, the audio modules WA-TX-03S and WA-RX-03S have a stated range of 50m (line of sight). For more information, please visit the product page (see link in the description). www.cdt21.com/products/audio/wa03s/
For those that have the STD-502 module from Circuit Design, Inc and want to feed their data asynchronously (UART) to the module, a sample code using the Arduino Mega 2560 is available that can do this. I can forward this code to anyone who requests it. You can email at info@circuitdesign.jp
Very good contribution , I have the STD- 502 -ry not module and able to achieve communication via UART , I would like to make communication with arduino as well as you have it in the video, I could you please help me with an outline and a code example of communication, thank you for your attention.
+ricardo lara Hi Ricardo, I presume you meant that you could not input / output data into the STD-502 by UART. The STD-502 uses synchronous communication in conjunction with STD-502 CLK out. The problem is that Arduino only has UART output and is not compatible with synchronous communication. To work around this, you can use the Arduino normal serial port and then simulate synchronous by feeding the CLK signal into an interrupt pin. It has not been done before, so I will demonstrate it here. If you are interested in keeping up with this development, then you contact us at: info@circuitdesign.jp. By the way, what country are you from?
+John Bell Hello John Bell, thank you very much for answering, clear that if I am interested in continuing with the project, I am Engineer Mecatronio of Colombia, thank you very much for your help, wanted to know if the module "funduino xbee usb adapter" and "ln-101 Dynamixel "I could serve for UART communication ?. I remain attentive to any questions and suggestions. My email is ralara@uniboyaca.edu.co
