Thanks, Edreik, really nice of you to say that; always here if you need anything voicing, although, sadly, the onward march towards an artificially-intelligent future continues to rob me and my peers of our livelihoods (I lost over 25% of my voiceover clients to AI voices over the past 18 months, and our fees, as a result, are at their lowest ever. Many professional voice artists are today living in poverty, or being forced to hold down several jobs, or shutting down their businesses after decades of success, because the voiceover industry, along with many other parts of the creative industries, are being decimated by what is undoubtedly fascinating, but dangerous technology with the power to do more harm than good. So, whilst human voices are hanging on by a thread, please do keep listening, keep admiring, keep enjoying every human voice you hear. Each and every one of us is born with something that can inspire, teach, entertain, lift your spirits, tell you you're special, that you're loved, that you're worthwhile; the voice is a thing of great beauty that brings people together, fuels our passions and can give us all hope. It can't be seen, has neither smell nor taste, it has no physical form, you can't reach out and touch it, but... it can reach out and touch you, and when you're at the lowest of lows it can hold you, hug you, and make you feel loved. It can whisper in your ear and make you feel better., it can make you smile, even make you laugh; it can make you shout, sing or scream with delight. And when our loved ones move on, we can still hear their voices, their laughter, their spirit. It lives on in our thoughts, making us feel warm when it's cold, happy when sad, safe, and when we're feeling lonely or alone, they remain our companions; we can still talk to them, and whilst they obviously can't answer us, we can imagine exactly what they'd say, and how they'd say it. We feel human, and we humans feel BECAUSE of the power of the human voice. Voices of the present provide the narrative to our journey through life. Voices from our past comfort us when life's journey gives us a bumpy ride. We need our voices of the past and present far more than we will ever need these voices from the future. It's one of our most unique assets, individual to each and every one of us, and it's what truly makes us human; and that is why AI has no right to take our voices, to silence us, to keep us quiet. AI has the power to do so much good, but whilst the world does not have a voice shortage, these abominations known as AI voices, have no place in our world and should be silenced. Now. Before we forget how beautiful the human voice can truly be.

Why? Trademark infringement apparently, despite the track being licensed by Soundrop with Chappell Music. So how am I supposed to promote a track called "Doctor Who Theme 60: Infinity" WITHOUT mentioning Doctor Who?! Well, Google's very own AI chat platform, Bard, agreed with me that there is NO trademark infringement. However, despite lodging an appeal and uploading a screenshot of that chat, I'm still awaiting Google's response, meaning I've missed the first and most important day of the entire promotion. Hello, and yes, "Doctor Who Theme 60: Infinity" is now available worldwide, on iTunes/Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal, Qobuz, Claro Miusica, Anghami, NetEase, Resso, Snapchat, Joox, LyricFind (not sure you'll find much here though considering there are no lyrics!), Deezer, RU-vid Music, Amazon, Pandora, iHeartRadio, Tencent, TikTok, Boomplay/Ayoba, Jaxsta, Napster, Facebook and Instagram. Please tell as many people as you can, because today, on the 60th anniversary of Doctor Who, Google suspended a promotion before it had even begun, which was scheduled to coincide with the official birthday and broadcast of the first of the anniversary specials. Reason given? Trademark infringement (despite Soundrop having organised licensing of the track as a cover version). I've since corrected Google (including sending them a screenshot from Google's Bard AI platform confirming there is no trademark infringement) but I'm yet to receive a response. Either way, I've missed the boat, as it still isn't (and most likely won't) be promoted on the single biggest and most important day of the entire promotion. I mean, what WERE they thinking? How else can I promote the release of "Doctor Who Theme 60: Infinity" WITHOUT mentioning Doctor Who?! Of course, if they continue refusing to run the promotion, I'll simply change the wording to either "Dr Who" (which isn't trademarked) or Who Doctor... they certainly CAN'T refuse that, seeing as there's no such thing as WHO DOCTOR!
