Clearly a betterreading on the Masimo Oximeter! A MUCH BETTER MEASUREMENT!! The only thing I don't like about the Masimo Oximeters, is unlike the Nellcor OxiMax Oximeters, such as the N-395, N-595, and N-600X, which you can turn OFF the backlight if you're performing a sleep evaluation, such as in the Polysomnography Lab. You can easily turn off the backlights. The Masimo Oximeters, such as the RAD 97, you can't turn off the backlight. If you're in the sleep lab, you can't just make the display go black!
If this really works, why isn't it being advertised, and given to ppl ?? They'll give them their drug if choice but not something to help them stop. 85%+ of ppl addicted to opiates would stop if they had something that really worked in taking away the hell. Once you go through that hell, you just can't do it again. The only way to stop it is to take the opiate. Suboxone is an opiate, and strongerthan heroin. The drs are ruining ppls lives even worse with the subs. There's also ANS treatment, that costs $20k though, and no insurance covers it. There, they put u out while they fix the receptors to preopiate use. Walk out 2 days later with no cravings, no withdrawals. $20k, so it's only for the rich addicts
The W1 is an antiquated design with a very very short battery life. I'm lucky if it runs for 14 hours. The SPO2 measurement is unreliable. It disconnects from my Samsung S23 for no reason. I have to manually restart the Bluetooth connection. Having FDA approval, is in no way an endorsement for the watch per se. I deeply regret having bought this white elephant. I'm going to sell it before too many figure out its not worth the price. Waiting for the Apple Watch X this Fall
I really think that Masimo will be much more successful by licensing the technology to other smartwatch makers as this watch looks very boring and is lacking on the app side.
This... this is it? This is the competitor to the AW Ultra? Please. It gives you health metrics and that's it. This does nothing for somebody looking for a control face for their phone. I'm not ever going back to having to take my phone out of my pocket to read a text or email. I'm not ever going back to having to take my phone out of my pocket mid-jog so that I can switch songs or start a podcast. This is nonsense. "Available on the Apple Store." We'll see how long that lasts lmao. I'd recommend a knockoff Apple Watch from ebay. At least it's running the superior WatchOS. If not that, then a Samsung watch. Especially if you're running an android phone.
will there be a continious glucose monitor as well in it? And will it show data like the whoop? like sleep tracking, recovery, etc? that would be awesome to have which also has the option to measure basal temperature and to use it for cycle tracking, and being able to add data from daily hormone measurments :)
Overpriced junk. Samsung and Apple's watch is better. Masimo requires a paid subscription to use the watch. I thought Apple was greedy. I hope Apple wins the lawsuit against them.

Omg. Now I understand why apple didn’t beat Microsoft in getting the first AI model. They’d rather steal it, reverse engineer it, than buy it. Imagine how many app developers have suffered the same fate as Masimo. I’ve often wondered why apple is always last to try something. Now I know. They steal and try to reverse engineer everything then relabel it as some new apple break through. They’re close to 3 trillion in evaluation. I mean a few billion for breath through tech like ChatGPT would have put this company so far ahead of Microsoft it might be in bankruptcy today. But instead the ladder. This very well May be the first nail in the coffin for apple and how they “so call approach” innovation.
