@@Tesla11ven I bought DEDC filters and they had the pull tab on the wrong side!!! So to get the pull tabs facing outwards but maintaining the charcoal side facing the rear of the car, you have to put the filters in upside down. This allows the pull tab for the filter to be reachable, but the bottom one is gone way down in the bottom! What a bitch it was to get the bottom filter out because of that!!! I had to use some duct tape to make a makeshift “pull tab” to pull up a bit, then took a knife to stab it and push up even more, then ultimately more stabs and took a flat tool to push it up more until I just basically pulverized the edge to grip more of the filter to finally pull it out.
This will NOT fix the issue! The replacement filters will simply get wet and stink again. Don't spend $ on spray for the coils. I cannot find it but there is a video on how to block the moisture from getting on your filter. He 3D prints a clip that fits on the filter in the center edge of the bottom filter. I do not see why you couldn't simply use duck tape on the edge of the filter. Anything to keep the moisture from getting on/into the edge of the filter. Hope that helps a little. Sorry i could not find the video to share.
Guess you missed the one that crashed and caught on fire that shut a highway down for 18 hours in California. It’s not fake news. Driver escaped and is OK.
On the power washer, get yourself a short wand so much easier to handle. First foam the car to lubricate the dirt, let it dwell, rinse and then re-foam. You will get better results and fewer swirl marks.
It would be quite ironic if this was the same Tesla Semi that actually did catch fire this past Monday morning (8/19/24) in CA near Lake Tahoe and shut Interstate-80 down for 16 hours as toxic fumes endangered everyone in the vicinity. Aerial firefighting crews needed to drop fire retardant to prevent another massive forest fire. And this was just the cab and its batteries burning. It wasn't pulling a trailer so none of it could be attributed to its payload. The amount of disruption was unprecedented for a single semi truck fire. It caused major economic disruption but could have easily become a true catastrophe. When a diesel truck goes up in flames it only takes a few minutes to extinguish once the fire crews are on the scene. This was a whole other matter.
this helped me with my ac issue, my ac was turning on and off on its own and i went into these settings and it started working again i didn't even to anything i just exit and it was working, i even reset the car like 5 times and that didn't work.😟 are they taking money from us and not even having to work on the car !?
You need a second bucket with a grit guard to rinse the wash mit before putting it back in the soap. Just another step to keep from spreading dirt back onto your vehicle.
Never put an Incandescent bulb onto any flammable surface. The heat generated by incandescent bulbs have caused so many fires historically. Glad you caught it before it did some real damage to your car.
@@Tesla11ven no it’s just concerning that if ever it drains I don’t want to get stranded cause it’s harder to jump that battery since it’s hidden within the frunk unlike ICE cars where I use a jumper and jump the car
My 2021 Model Y Long Range 320miles max range, after 3years and 70,000 miles lost 21miles range and that is about 7miles per year lost in the past 3years. It is driven almost 5 times a week around 100miles per day on regular days charged max to 80% every day before regular use. And it is almost taken to many long roadtrips charging at superchargers during holidays or family vacation trips.
very good video, i have problem to pull speaker line out, but i was still able to replace, any tip for pulling speaker line? seems it is very tight and i couldn't put it out.
Looks like it took longer than 10 mins. Not sure how you wait 5 minutes for 2 different things and also take everything out takes 10 mins. More like 30 mins 😅
He was filming and explaining everything slowly for you to be able to follow. If you’ve ever done it yourself and don’t have to stop and explain, it only takes about 10 minutes.
