I started this to post motorcycle videos. But the RU-vid community is a helpful community, so I added videos when I could to help others. Later, for no other reason than boredome I began posting random Videos on just about everything.

So I managed to take the cover off, but I have trigger finger and just cant pull the light bulb out since I cant rotate. Watching you struggle gives me hope ill find a way to twist it. Otherwise I may have to pay someone for the first time ever to quite litaraly give me a hand.

I found myself watching your 5 videos consecutively. I found them very informative, and you spoke with clarity and precision. I loved the shot of the beautiful landscape as well. I am convinced that the Honda ST 1300 is the bike to get. I am curious to find out what you think of my choice of this as a first-time motorbike owner? I am 44 years old and weigh 104 kilos and have never even sat in a bike before. Call it a midlife crisis, but i believe that my maturity is a bug plus since im not planning to race anyone or to do any silly and childish things with it. I don't want to go for a smaller and lighter bike just to learn to ride because I want a bike I can keep for years and enjoy. I believe that we can learn with any bike we choose. Your thoughts, please.

Glad you enjoyed the videos. The reckless side of me says "heck yes, go for it", but the more conservative side of me, the former trainer says I like to see a person build some basic competencies before moving up the line. There are skills that will serve you well if they are built into muscle memory. For instance, if you had to panic brake ( you will at some point ) , would you be able to do it with a 700lb + machine and not lose control of the bike? This is a simple skill to train on a small bike - ( I really like dual purpose machines for learners ), but things really change when you starting adding weight and girth to the machine you are sitting on. Hitting pot holes, sometimes they just come up especially on a dark wet night. There are two ways to deal with a panic pot hole, swerve abruptly or ride through it. Again, this is trainable. But just starting out, this would not be the best machine to start that training with. Again, its just a matter of mass. Finding a qualified trainer who will task you with some "tough stuff" will be to your benefit. That is another reason I like dual purpose machines. They are usually available at a reasonable price and they can take a beating and are not that expensive to repair - most likely you will be replacing clutch levers etc - not body panels. I would feel much better dumping my low cost dual purpose in a training exercise than I would this beautiful machine. Whatever you decide, best of luck and be safe.

Did you have somethingheavy in one side bag and not the other? St1300 "death woble" myth was started by police bikes that had heavy radio gear mounted in the right side pannier. Corrected when they evened out the weight

Dont recall now, but typically as I run it as a daily commute, unless I am going somewhere, bags are empty. Never had the issue again but haven't had the same circumstances either.

It's called GAS!!!! Guitar Acquisition Syndrome!!! It's extremely contagious. I contracted it years ago and can't seem to get over it. So, 9 electric, 6 acoustic, and a dulcimer.

Take a look at IronGear pickups for excellent tone for money. I've swapped out Wilkinsons for a pair of IronGear Blues Engines on a Harley Benton HB35+ And I put a pair of IronGear teSLA SHarks in a Harley Benton SC450+ replacing the Roswells it came with. Both the Wilkinsons and the Roswells were OK but the IronGears are a major improvement. That said, I have an SG type with Wilkinsons and they work fine in that guitar even though they are the same model as came with the HB35+.

Nice collection. Honestly, I have no idea why we buy so many guitars, I think its some kind of addiction. I dont even play in a band and I have probably 10+ guitars and they’re not even different models, I have like two IDENTICAL jazzmasters, 2 mustangs, then like 3 acoustics (why would I need more than one?). Then all of a sudden I sell a bunch of them and buy new stuff and it keeps going. I have a semi hollow guitar that I’ve bought just because it was cheap. And I also have a lot of spare parts, necks, bridges, pickups and that kind of stuff. Why? Well, not even gonna talk about pedals…I wish I could sell everything and just keep an electric guitar, a bass and an acoustic

I rode a 2005 ST1300 in florida for (5) years as my only vehicle and man in storms, hurricanes, heavy rain, she was all I had for day and night travel ...... I still have a Black 2006 with 70k here in Arizona and would not give her away.....I'm looking for a 2012 ST1300 with low miles as my last bike since I am now 60 years old ...... These bikes are special !!!!!!

I wish I found your video before I filled mine....I got the yellow one and was excited to go fill it with off road diesel for my tractor. Leaks right there. So frustrating. I was going to remove the valve but was worried that something may be threaded on from within the tank that. This is absurd. Wish I never bought it, I will never trust it even after I get it to stop leaking. Thanks for posting this video!

i ran across this video, after i had already had licensed electrician in the property. outlets and lights out in 3 rooms, everywhere else ok.. electrician pulled the outlets out to put a multimeter, on each. no power coming in he said, he said re wire the whole house. he left , did not turn any breaker off to that area, they didnt call me back to schedule re wire, which im glad they didnt. the person living there said 4 days later she smelled a faint, but burning smell..i turned off all breakers at this point, pulled first outlet in the room out, and found that one of the wires had broken off and was touching other wire, replaced outlet, now everything back on. 7 total outlets now work + all lights, no rewire needed, nice try though on the electricians part, i dont think taking someone s word that they are certified means anything, make them provide certification, also you could give them a written exam to take before they step onto property, if they refuse they have 30 seconds to get off property. might seem extreme to some, but to bad. they say dont do anything on your own, get electrician. for what, the house would have burned to the ground, if waiting on his re-wire

I have 2 xg8000e units for about 6years. I bought the second one a year later as i was so pleased with the first one..i still have both at two different locations and they run every time immediately.. one unit has been outside for all of those 6 years in a semi exposed shelter..the unit looks like its been through a war but runs like a swiss watch..im sad that your unit caused you so much grief. I cant comment on the service or warranty but it wouldn't surprise me if generac were difficult as many companies spend more time on sales then support..as for Chinese units, all i can say, ive had many tools when i was younger and starting out as a contractor that were Chinese made and i can say in my current $30-$40 thousand tool inventory i have absolutely no Chinese tools as they have ALWAYS let me down in the long term wether it was cheap materials or difficulty getting replacement parts there are made extremely cheap and dont last, they may start but i wouldnt run it hard..not to mention no one should be supporting a country like china with such poor human rights. If ya want a sure thing buy Japanese..buy a honda and keep it for life..i would have but at the time we had no dealers around..Good luck with what ever ya have..
