Didn't think of it and not sure what you mean by registering the battery. I am guessing the answer is no as I did nothing other than what is shown and so far so good.
@@fixitmyself You are supposed to take it to the dealership so that the battery is calibrated and will let you know when it is low in the future. I'd recommend doing this.
This particular car does not have the IBS that needs registration but most minis of this year do. You can tell as the IBS has a thin wire and some circuitry on the negative cable clamp. You can buy a scan tool with the capability for like $50 to register it.
