Joanne Shaw Taylor has established herself as the UK’s number one star in the blues rock world. The girl with the big voice from the Black Country has toured extensively around the world and released critically acclaimed albums, gaining a global fanbase and playing alongside some of her musical idols.
Joanne’s debut album White Sugar opened the door for Joanne and her career has now gone stratospheric, with Joanne breaking into the notoriously hard-to-crack US market, beating the stereotypes of her age and gender, and gaining acclaim from critics and her peers alike. Following albums, Diamonds in the Dirt, Almost Always Never and Songs From the Road followed and saw Joanne’s fanbase global rise.
Joanne is a bona fide star with famous fans across the guitar world including Joe Bonamassa, Tedeschi Trucks, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Glenn Hughes and John Mayall to name but a few.

Brilliant version this song came out the month I walked out of school for the last time (6 months early but no one cared in those days I’d done my exams didn’t care anymore just wanted to work and earn) brings back great memories. Thank you
I saw Joanne opening for Joe B last night. Fantastic set. I think all her own material. Good, toe-tapping blues-based tunes. She's a fine singer and a standout blues player. Catch them together, you'll have a great time. What's more: she can really solo! She doesn't ramble or riff endlessly. Her solos have shape and really go somewhere. Oh. yeah.
