I thought rock blues died with Rory Gallagher on this side of the water ,I will never get to see Rory live again but I plan to be at one of Joanne's concert's this year.
She is amazing. Discovered at the age of 16 by Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics (20 years ago). Been a fan for quite some time and have 9 of her albums. She is incredible.

Right from the start I felt captivated. It started with that great guitar playing, the band and then her vocals. Such a beautiful and heartbreaking song. It felt like it was played specially for me and went straight to my soul. At the end it was as if I was coming down with a bad case of the blues.....💙❣
I sing, write, and play the harmonica. Play a lot of genres, to include all kinds of Blues, and she just slays it and all but kills me! What a Blessing!!!!!!!

Fabulous!! Joanne showing off all her main talents. Guitar playing, songwriting and her vocals are so confident now. I've seen her twice, probably ten years apart, and the way she has developed, especially her vocals, is wonderful. Always knew she'd be great and become well known and good to see it happening now. So proud she's also a Brit despite making her home in U.S.
JST would be an amazing contender for a headliner at British Summer Time at Hyde Park London in the next couple of years. Absolutely remarkable, a fantastic blues artist ❤️

If you have the chance to see JST in performance, it is money well spent. You will not see a guitar virtuoso anywhere else. Joanne is the best. She packs a lot of power and emotion into this song. Just waiting for her to come back to my neck of the woods.

Discovered her on Sirius XM BB King’s Bluesville Chanel. Glad that I did. Also discovered Mindy Abair and several other talented blues artists on Bluesville that I had not heard before.
