Just talked to a guy with an '47 completely unrestored except for mechanical and 12V instead of 6v. That thing was beautiful, almost smelled like 1947. Started on the first kick too. It looked just like your beautiful bike, just aged 77 years :-D

I've been riding motorcycles over 30 years I do a little wrenching I'm not as good as you or I used to wrench a little.. Getting a clip on mic would help with being able to hear you talk about the bike. When you are holding the camera it is fine but when standing next to the bike it is pretty quiet. Anyway nice videos, thanks for sharing.
I personally wouldn't be so keen on low rev iddle ... doesn't help anything except "sound" its anyway motor with more then 400ccm cylinders each which create quite a big shocks to crankshaft. I'd prefer higher "blood" pressure in vains instead of "sound"
@@kinglingley on retarded or not, the oil pressure is higer on higer revs, shocks are lower on higer revs. Up to You mate. I dont think Im "wrong" its just the level of braveness😂 ... of course needle brg can cope better than sleeves.
Are you running that 8 over on a stock rake with a inline or an offset springer? Hows it handle? I like the stance i never built a long bike and i am leaning towards one.
@@mattchoppers1 so it’s a 8 over and it’s got some rake in the stem. You can go 6 over on a 30 degree neck (46 and later) and it feels good. If you go 8 it gets floppy. That’s why there’s some take in the stem on this one
