This was a perfect drama but it hurts to say that these two didnt end up together.. But at the same im happy that they get what they deserve but still ahhh i can't decide!! Lets just say they weren not meant to meet from the very beginning cuz they gave us (the viewers) hope and then fade away at the end
Junhwangs older brother also deserves an award for fullfilling his role perfectly. He incorporated his soul into this character that he doesnt look like hes only acting

CAN NOT UNITED BUT RELATED EACH OTHER ( Bang won life for his own dream , and bonn yi life for her own dream ,different dreams,different place but same heart same feeling . and for their dreams they sacrifece their love something that cant united them even they too close). Была потрясена, я понятия не имела, что существует корейское кино! Настолько меня поразила красота артистов, природы и отсутствие пошлости! Фильм чудесный! Влюбилась в Ю А Ина! Считаю его лучшим актером Кореи. Все его работы великолепны! пропал сейчас- не знаю! Хотелось бы снова увидеть его в новых фильмах! Надеюсь, что у него все наладится и он снова будет сниматься!

Their love is pure❤ lee bng won loving boo nyi so gentle but their love is so sad too😢😢😢😢 how frustrating bang won for boonyi he want her so bad😭😭 I love everytime boonyi saw bang won just from her eyes we know how sad she is how much she is love bang won but they have to sacrifice their love to save their world I mean to save a lot of people ( i know this is boonyi) mean while bang won because he want a thorone more and more but I'm glad he is change and build joseon getting better 😥😥 He did it without anyone know what painful he get no one know he is feels lonely everytime because he is missing boonyi everyday and they are missing each other in the middle of their own world 😢😢😢

Every foreigner misconceives him. King taejong(太宗), Lee bangwon, is one of best king in korean history. And many korean love him. He isn't just a villain. He made foundation of joseon and had a surplus primally in korean history. It made king sejong could do sejong wanted policies
I'm a new watcher to this series partly because I knew it would wreck my life so I kept outing it off. I'm still watching it which is why I remember bang won say that people don't respect those who do good but lose they respect those who win. And in some sense that is very true, he won in history and played a major role in the Korea we know today so tho most people don't like his ways he his still respected because he won.
From Thailand, i agree with you. We could not use today’s standard of moral with situation back in 1392-1400. It seemed to be a notm of those days of fighting to the throne, war, etc. we need to see what did he do to the kingdom. I really like him and understand why it happened. Yoo ah in & shin se kyung, i wish that both of you will be couple again on next drama, but promise me that the couple would be happy ending. You know what I mean. Since fashion king you never be together in the end. :'(
They promised us their love. We kept on hoping that maybe they would be together, till the very end of the series with only one kiss. It really hurt us.I rewatched the drama and had the same effect it had on me the first time. Now I love dramas with epic scenes and Swordmanship. I hate dramas where women quarrel for one man.
yep.. it still hurt when i see this couple couldnt get together but still somehow i like the ending too.. i dont want boonyi just become his 2nd wife/concubine or get involved with any dirty palace politic.. bangwon has said that only to her he become the old himself.. she is the only one that bangwon trully love and respect even he has changed.. for him boonyi is the one who can kept the old lee bangwon still alive.. and i think that is the most romantic way of loving someone..
If this was a true love story of them , then that's nothing more beautiful than that. Its too beautiful that makes me always shed tears watching this drama. Yoo ah in is the best actor indeed. Love him so much I love more the character he played , what a great man Lee bang won was !
I almost agreed with you because Yoo Ah in captivates and hypnotizes me with his acting BUT I had to keep reminding myself that his character killed his brothers. The older ones that he was fighting with is one thing, but he killed the young kids too. 😢
