What's up and welcome to our channel! Mike and I (Kayla) are a husband and wife offroad team that live in Southern New Mexico. Most of our content involves the trails in this area but as we travel to some of our neighboring states you can expect to find videos of other exciting trails! We appreciate each and everyone of you who subscribe to our adventures and hope to get the chance to see ya on the trails...
Coming from Eastern Canada, hoping to get to NM next year or the year after for about a week. Where would you recommend going and what time of year, prefer to avoid the hottest weather. Love your videos.
How cool! That's quite an adventure you've got planned. If you're able to, I highly recommend the fall season from October-December. Everything in the desert is so green during that time. The spring months are also pretty good, the scenery just isn't as pretty because the rainy season comes at the end of the summer. There are fun trails right outside of Las Cruces and also an hour north in the Caballo Area. I'd love to hear more about your set up. You can shoot me an email anytime at kayla.rich@gmail.com
Thank ya'll for a great vid, was awesome to finally get out with you... I've got parts of mine torn apart right now but its coming along. Thanks for the spots Kayla, great job!
I would trust Michael and Kayla to guide me over the rough spots for sure! You 2 are really good at seeing the lines! Thanks for taking us along for the adventure.
😂🤣😂 right! Haha. No we've just been busy with our house remodel and then Mike put a doubler in his jeep over the winter... so we just didn't do much wheelin for a few months. Glad to be back at it!
That was a great video... Man I hate so bad that I missed it... I'll sign up now for next year same trails 😀 ... And no bypasses (<--- not trail) next year lol.
Great trail, your driving skills are awesome. Kayla I can't believe you didn't flop on your side on that one obstacle, good job! And again thanks for taking us along with the video! And Michael you make it look easy!
Certainly felt like a record! I don't think I've ever gotten through Crystal Canyon that fast.... and even after all the trails, we still made it back in the early afternoon hours 😅
The doubler in that TJ with the 4cyl, needs to get a disconnect for the rear output so as to front digs. It'll be custom, but similar to TrailTough version for the Toyota since you have that 'longer' rear ds. Note: RHD TJ was spotted like it was a LHD TJ. LOL.
Very nice! Out of all the times I have been to Ouray with the SJ folks (which is quite a lot) not once did anyone suggest heading over to wheel near Montrose. It’s part of the reason I quit taking my rig to Ouray, it’s literally overbuilt for everything there except Poughkeepsie and that trail is really short. I think 2018 was it’s last trip up in October to run some trails east of Olathe in the Gunnison Gorge NCA.
