We had a great time in Montrose Colorado with the @murphysgarage, @wheelinoutwest @tresamigosoffroad4457 and the @RockstarGarage crews. Thanks to all those who came out to lead trails and help make this event possible! This is day 1 of our GAC adventure!
Die Tryin' is a 9 rated trail that lives up to it's name. It is almost a continuous technical boulder garden, with a few V notches in-between. I definitely want to try and tackle this trail one more time and see if I can get up the last loose boulder garden without having to winch. Hopefully next summer!

Very nice! Out of all the times I have been to Ouray with the SJ folks (which is quite a lot) not once did anyone suggest heading over to wheel near Montrose. It’s part of the reason I quit taking my rig to Ouray, it’s literally overbuilt for everything there except Poughkeepsie and that trail is really short. I think 2018 was it’s last trip up in October to run some trails east of Olathe in the Gunnison Gorge NCA.

Looks like a lot of fun, thanks for the video. Way better than installing a role cage. Getting the old XJ ready for the Chile Challenge.

Right! 🤣 it's coming along nicely from what I've seen on FB. That's one of the next big things I need to do to my jeep too. Mike has a partial cage... so he needs to finish it out one of these days too. Looking forward to having you guys out at CC again this year!
