My journey with Young Onset Parkinson’s disease and my journey of discovering a tapping technique that settled anxiety, improved my Parkinson’s gait and “off” meds stammer. Since then our journey led to remarkable impact on a variety of syndromes and symptoms. A device was conceived and I’ll be sharing the journey from conception to manufacture and distribution here too.
Without taking the meds, I am useless...great post! I was diagnosed 5 years ago. Still riding my road bike but not without the Carbidopa levodopa Wish I didn't need it. It's much better than being a wobbly Penguin... 3:30
This is fantastic! When do you think it will be available?? I think my son would benefit from this who suffers from ataxia and has difficulty talking and walking after brain surgery
A couple of years ago I designed and open sourced an RSI device to help people with mouse clicks. Id be happy to help do the same with yours and build a band to help people.
Do not give up proteins because of medication effectiveness. Losing mobility due to Parkinson’s is one thing but losing mobility due to lack of muscles is another. My mother has been staying in stage 1 for 14 years now and she has been eating protein everyday (keto/low carb) exercise daily for over 3 hours.
I have followed all you videos carl and this is nothing short of miraculous, keep up your incredible work, amazing... Care for my 76 year old mother who is 15 years into this bastard disease and i will be showing her your video in the morning, mind blowing, keep up your amazing work👍👍
Either you're a coldhearted psycho trying to steal loads of money. Or.. You've found something that'll make the pharma industry come for your head. Either way... very interesting. Would u mind delving into the frequencies used and how the device is connected to your wrist?
I don't have Parkinson's but I have other conditions stemming from autonomic nervous system dysregulation. I am often compelled to tap on my collarbone and wondered if it is communicating to the brain via fascia. Really wish you the best seeing your product development and distribution through. Exciting work and journey for you!!!
Control of predictive convulsions or spasms i guess. This is fascinating! I cant imagine to live with this. I get this shake in certain positions with my hands which i work around. I cant imagine how hard this is mentally. Keep going!x
You need high doses of Vitamin B 1 every day. I take 1800 a day. Everyone is different so you have to experiment with the amount of vitamin. I just found out I have PD, but I think it started about four years ago.
This is also a technique for trauma survivors to use to get the anxiety under control, to process the trauma without being overwhelmed. Love your video for showing me how to handle talking in the future. Thank You.
@@Ladybug-uf7uh my journey started by dealing with Parkinson’s symptoms. It led me to discover a technique and invent a device that’s having an amazing impact
Will the Beech Band have a few settings for pace? I’ve been trying it on the wrist area and it helps to regulate walking especially later in the day when I look like a grey haired Frankenstein! LOL
@@rebeccasykes1939 at the moment it depends on cost. We are determined to keep the price low so it’ll be at a setting we have found makes universal impact. Simple to operate and simple to produce. That said we have discussed perhaps 3 variations in time if they prove to be beneficial.
Hello there from across the pond. My name is Starr and I have YOPD and I am so excited about this band for symptoms of Parkinson’s disease. It can really help people. I am going to get the DBS surgery by the end of the year for my Dyskinesia because I can’t take my medication properly because it gives me extreme Dyskinesia. We as in the Parkinson’s community struggle so badly because there is not a lot of options for treatment so I want to say thank you for helping by inventing new options to make symptoms more manageable. Cheers mate.
@youngonsetparkinsons brilliant.. my speech is ok but stutter at times but nothing too bad.. my tremor in my right arm comes on with anxiety and when it feels like it lol!! I wonder if your device may help me?
Absolutely amazing ! I know a lot of people who would benefit from a product like this ! This is why products should be made for disabled people BY disabled people. We're the only ones who can understand our own needs
@@smolbluegoblin totally agree! You have to be strong willed as it breaks with the established way of doing things. Power to the patient inventors I say!!
Wow! I just love this channel because I learn something new and fascinating about living with Parkinson’s from every clip. I’m a caregiver of a person with Parkinson’s, so the knowledge obtained is extremely valuable! Thank you again!
