Hey, I'm JD the creator of The Little Almond and welcome to my channel! I make fully vegan recipes to promote a plant-based and cruelty free living. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the content :)
Add applesauce to the cookies they will come out create i don't know if you will need to change any wet ingredient measurements if you donthe apple sauce but i make mine with one of those little apple sauce cups that is all you need it takes the place of egg everything else is just following the basic recipe of the Nestle toll House just veganize it
Just made these and omg SUPER tasty AND so easy!!🥰 definitely subbing! But a helping tip for others who like me are lil yellow in the kitchen: 1) I had to lightly wet my hands with water while making the balls cause they stuck to my hands and 2) get the balls as quickly from the freezer to your preheated oven as you can☝my 2nd set of cookies, that waited outside the freezer for over 10min before their turn, didn't look as great as the 1st set. Tasty still but visually I liked the ones better that went straight to the oven from the freezer instead of wating +10min on the side🙂
This recipe is one of the best by far! I’ll be whipping them up this week again, thank you very much for the effort put into making such a clean, easy to follow video @thelittlealmond6689
Thanks a lot for the recipe! The cake was amazing! I didn't have vegan butter for the cream, used cashew butter, coconut milk and coconut oil instead 😊
Hi Tabitha, unfortunately the blog is no longer up and running as I’ve made the hard decision to retire The Little Almond. I will try to upload the written recipes into video description when I have the time!
He said fridge not freezer, shouldn't make too much of a difference after being in the oven though since there is no yeast or anything involved. I usually keep my dough in the fridge for a day if I have the time.
Made this cake for my bday and got really disappointed. The cream is too sweet, it is impossible to eat the cake with such a sweet cream (half a kilo of sugar...).
Great video! I made these the other day from your vid mainly. They were so good! They reminded me of the subway cookies which I’ve always liked when I used to eat there. I just made a few substitutions based on what I had. I used baking powder (more of it) and egg replacer(1 egg/your recipe quantity); no cornstarch or baking soda. And also I did half regular and half brown sugar and no vanilla. And I left in it the fridge for a little over a day (no freezer space). I found I had to cook a bit longer like closer to 15 min maybe even more. Anyway they were so good and it was my first time making chocolate chip cookies. I made more dough than yours so I have more in a freezer bag. Thanks!
I found the recipe on my phone! • 1/2 Cup Vegan Butter melted • 1 Cup Brown Sugar • 2 Tsp Vanilla Extract • 1/4 Cup Non-Dairy Milk unsweetened • 1/4 Cup Apple Sauce unsweetened • 2 Cup All-Purpose Flour • 1/2 Cup Cacao Powder • 1 Tsp Baking Soda • 1/2 Tsp Salt • 2 Cups Vegan Chocolate Chips • Flaky Sea Salt optional
Does any of the ingredients you used have any nuts soya or oil or at least traces of them in their own packaging because I have a walnut allergy and had a reaction to soya once I just want something to try without it harming me
