A tired Daddy Bear heads back to the den to un-bruise and ice the spuds and de-numb those plumbs. Certain the Mikey-mobile will appreciate the reduction in mileage too. Kit and mind refreshed.
Best decision made Mikey, you can always chill and regroup your fishing, though you can never replace time spent with your loved ones, every one who watches and comments on your videos knows you are an awesome person and fisherman, though you being the bigger man and realising it’s all become a bit to much is a priceless knowledge, thoroughly enjoy your time away from fishing, you will definitely come back stronger and wiser than ever. Karl NZ ❤
@@dragonangling your welcome Mikey, been through the same drama, switch off and enjoy the things that are really important to you, as they were in the beginning, don’t know for you, though it was my wife, children and grandchildren, we are are better people to accept we are only human, and can move on to something better 👍👍😀😀
Absolutely gutted for you Mikey and I fully understand you taking a break. Spend some quality time with the family. Clear your head and come back refreshed and with a clear head. Have a great time with the family Mikey 👍
Good Shout Time out and family Time always precious, and you'll come back refreshed , wait till you hit 62 then 450 miles feels like 4k lol . Its a hard slog traveling to the big qualifiers Mikey for sure , i cant do it any more to be honest so try an keep it to under 100 miles these days . Glad you have been doing well recently and loving the videos . keep it going . All the best Si
Great vid Mikey-match fishing does get in your head-i got that frustrated with it -gave it up for 3 years-but went back and had to learn hair-rigs etc-just did'nt work out for you on the video Mikey but you couldn't have done any more-do you use in -line bombs -and what hooks were you using on the bomb-you had it right when you were bagging on the bomb!-great video!
A break and spending time with the family will do you the world of good. A clear and rested mind will help then just try and enjoy your fishing without the self imposed pressure we all put ourselves under
Hardlines, shame it did not go your way , with all the effort you putting in to get to these matches and venues hopefully the rewards will come your way , Well-done mate👍 Great live match video again , enjoyed watching .Thanks
unlucky Mikey i hate it when the luck doesnt go your way the carp on our local pool have gone chicken oriental recently proper angry, a nightmare to get in, onwards and upwards to the next match mate
You making the right choice Mikey. Burn out is not good for anyone and can affect your performance ongoing. Family is most important especially Kids so enjoy your break. The action will start soon enough. Match wise I dont think you could have done much more. You had the fish grazing infront of you and made the most of it. The angler to your right by joining you on the bomb as you said effectively shut the door on you. The fish which came of when it hit the bar also did you no favours. Very well fished though and thanks for the great commentary especially the "Kick in the Plumbs" bit 🤣🤣. Looking forward to your next video's in a few weeks time. Cheers
Well done for trying to get to these finals Mikey, im sure we've all been behind you wishing you well. Taking a break is no problem , a rest is as good as a cure so it's said. Take care .
Close but No cigar Mikey unlucky. That's how us mere mortals feel most weeks. great to have the state of mind to know when to take a break from it, as we all know its both absorbing & exhausting. you'll be back with a bang I'm sure
@@Pieniepower I always think if your in for a penny your in for a pound, yes it’s not cheap but you won’t compete without the right bait, I bought 10 pints of maggots last time in the shop was 40 quid but I know if I get on the right peg with that bait I can win
Another brilliant video Mikey great viewing and listening love you bollocking the fish. Unlucky on the net weight but awesome angling friend keep them coming 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
@@dragonangling something I haven’t done, though I can take my granddaughter to small rivers and feed them, i am even amazed at what you can see in 4 inches of water never mind catching them 👍😀
Brilliant video Mikey and really well fished. Unlucky with the overfilled net. I'd have no idea how much was in mine Mikey. Great to see you bagging plenty mate. Look forward to the next video Mikey 👍
After following you for about 3 months, I thought I'd pop to Monmouth. Wow, what a fishery. Cracking owner, and absolutely solid . Everything I tried I caught. Will be back soon
Certainly enjoyed as usual Mikey, thanks and well done on a great days fishing in stunning scenery. There's that music again, it's doing my head in trying to find it🥴
Great Video Mikey. Shame about the knock back. Great looking venue. So close as well. I do like your rigs, especially the shallow one with the 3 spaced shots. Well done mate. Cheers
over heating with a go pro solution - use an external power source WITHOUT a go pro battery in it, it wont over heat and you can record all day long if you want.
@@dragonangling Interestingly DJI action cams in the EU (due to a directive) have to switch off at 48 degrees celsius. There is an easy workaround for this script restriction in DJI 3's and 4's. Check this video out to show you what you need to do. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jHbmaTxaKoA.html With this and an external power supply AND no battery in you should get much much longer recording at least. Even using DJI batteries it will record much longer.
@@dragonangling Interestingly there is an eu directive that deems DJI 3's and 4's have to switch off at 48 degrees C which is massively restrictive to record times and resolutions, as such there is a line of script in the firmware which is NOT in the cams outside the EU, there is a really easy fix for this firmware issue. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jHbmaTxaKoA.html This fix will massively increase your record time - add to this an external power supply (no dji battery inside - if the cam can do this) and you will get much much if not all day long recording. Of course recording at 4 k + will heat up your camera real fast. 1080 - 60 is a much better record res IMO.
@@dragonangling yeh they set to 70 degrees i think so in direct sunlight it will always overheat in time. Lower record resolution 1080 60 (which is all anyone truly needs) wil prolong record time. Im not sure a DJI can even use an external battery but if you can and take out the actual camera battery it will increase record time massively. You can use this device on the DJI 4 cam so Im guessing you should have no problems with an external battery - as effectively this is what this is. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-r3VLV_HUBRQ.html This is the video you need to watch as it shows yes the DJI ACTION 4 CAN run with an external power source and NO battery inside..! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-oUbR_FUm5MI.html
