@@dragonangling Interestingly DJI action cams in the EU (due to a directive) have to switch off at 48 degrees celsius. There is an easy workaround for this script restriction in DJI 3's and 4's. Check this video out to show you what you need to do. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jHbmaTxaKoA.html With this and an external power supply AND no battery in you should get much much longer recording at least. Even using DJI batteries it will record much longer.

@@dragonangling Interestingly there is an eu directive that deems DJI 3's and 4's have to switch off at 48 degrees C which is massively restrictive to record times and resolutions, as such there is a line of script in the firmware which is NOT in the cams outside the EU, there is a really easy fix for this firmware issue. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jHbmaTxaKoA.html This fix will massively increase your record time - add to this an external power supply (no dji battery inside - if the cam can do this) and you will get much much if not all day long recording. Of course recording at 4 k + will heat up your camera real fast. 1080 - 60 is a much better record res IMO.

@@julien1 yea I noticed that first time I used them iv down loaded some soft wear now that stops that but if it’s really hot they still play up

@@dragonangling yeh they set to 70 degrees i think so in direct sunlight it will always overheat in time. Lower record resolution 1080 60 (which is all anyone truly needs) wil prolong record time. Im not sure a DJI can even use an external battery but if you can and take out the actual camera battery it will increase record time massively.
