The most interesting thing about Kobe's development is that it contradicts the trajectory of most players. Where most players relied on their athleticism early on, Kobe had to improve his.

2013 wipes 2018, much better finisher and scorer and ATG Level Defense and his motor was much better. 2018 is better offensively due to better reads and passing. Still an Elite scorer but 2013 better and has better resilience from the pacers and spurs series. 2013 is lebrons best or second best season interchangeable with 2012. 2013 beats him in everything but playmaking and passing. Lebron was still creating tons of shots for teammates but his reads weren’t as consistent and sharp as his second Cavs stint.

You all wrong. Not all of these are fouls. Its the momentum and direction of the swipe or arm bar. If the off hand is pushing horizontally and the arm extends fully & horizontally, foul. But if you're using a hammer fist technique then its totally legal. The push has to be halfway and with the forearm.

MJ from the start was all about fundamentals and a crazy level of competitiveness. 'Maybe you think my game was built on flash and not fire.'

lol Jordan has the deepest bag in history. It’s imperceptibly deep, since he had moves he’d pull out only once a career if need be, creating snapshot memories that no one would ever forget
@leechrec
@leechrec 19 дней назад
Jordan's bag is humongous. And decisive and efficient. No wasted movement or dribbles. Killed you quick. This is why some players mistakenly say that he was "easy" to guard. He wasn't, because you were already dead. MJ GOAT.

The opposite is true. Damien is massively overrated. He has numbers only because he's on a loser team. He plays zero defense. He has deep threes because he just throws up garbage on a team that doesn't care.

James Jordan mentioned during an interview that J used the negative comments about his game from the media and players as motivation. After his rookie year he improved every part of his game especially his defense. By year 3 he established himself as the most complete player in the game. Forth year MVP and DPOY.

I've been following Victor for years now and I can tell you this season is an anomaly. In previous seasons, his midrange was money and it's not something that he hasn't mastered before. It just shows he's still adjusting to the athleticism of the NBA, but it'll come back I have no doubt. He'll be fine.

Unexepcted suggestion on my feed. This was a terrific video for me being a first timer for few reasons: 1. The topic was about the most interesting young athlete in the world. Add in the sensational headline chosen and it garnered my interest. 2. At only 3.5 mins, it's easier to know earlier on if I'd maintain interest in the video or not. 3. Smooth dialogue in accompaniment with explainer footage. 4. This is the worst Wemby will be for the next 10-15 years. It's obvious he'll be better, so how do you address the obvious? You attacked the details and I appreciate it. You then discussed--without fluff--a specific type of scoring (5-10ft). You could easily do a series on this, considering he has so many areas to improve on such as passing out of the post in traffic, his addiction to leaning threes, the overdribbling in the paint and so much more. It's wild to say, but he's already top 5 Center and DPOY imo. His overall impact, the intangibles like beckoning shuffled steps from oppoents driving towards him 10 feet away and struggle comprehending that he's already within range... there is so much to gawk at, and so much to improve. Alien, indeed.

Among elite guards, he's top three in scoring per 36 minutes. Well down the lists for assists, rebounds, and 2-pt FG percentage. But combine that with him being one of the best defensive guards ever (if not the best). On the short list of best around guards.

You youngbloods don't have the experience of watching Magic Johnson play. Magic was even better than Jokic, but not by much, in running the floor. Passing from the high post, Jokic is better.

Well this post was way off. He’s actually way worse than everyone thinks. Maybe try knowing what you’re talking about before you post stuff. Offense is only half of it. He totally ruined The Milwaukee Bucks and the guy can’t play defense. Which some people say is important. He’s one of the most overrated players.

i've watched the game for a long time, you get to a certain point when you think you know everything about the game... like fundamental knowledge... jokic is the first guy in a decade that made me realize something new, something i didn't KNOW before and that is, height matters for passing... i never knew that.... but i've seen him make passes that are physically impossible for a point guard to make that aren't limited by any skill level, they are limited by the height from which the pass is made and the vision only available from that height

When it comes to passing, it's an insult to Jokic to compare him to centers. Not a single center other than Jokic is among the top 200 passers in basketball history. Jokic is the best passer of all time. Magic Johnson is my favorite player of all time, but Jokic has surpassed him in that segment of the game. Chauncey Billups is the first of the famous basketball players to publicly declare that Jokic is the best passer of all time, and it's only a matter of time before the majority will join him.

Im guessing you not mentioning Tatum being injured in game 7 was a choice
@miles_morales215
@miles_morales215 2 месяца назад
Tatum’s game is very fundamental, yet effective. Every move he move he makes has a purpose and has little hesitation. This combined with his supreme confidence to take a shot over any defender makes him a dangerous scorer. He needs little space to get a shot off. However, his game is a little too simple at times. During the regular season it doesn’t matter cause his team is so good that they’ll win most games purely cause of their talent advantage. But in the playoffs against a good defense he gets exposed cause his game is too basic and predictable. It’s either a side step 3 or a straight line drive. Defenders can force him into heavily contested bad shots because they know exactly what he’s going to do. That combined with not being an elite playmaker holds him back even more. For example, Jokic’s game is very simple as well but since he’s such a great playmaker it opens the floor for him to get open shots and see less double teams. Tatum has to either become a more erratic unpredictable scorer, or an elite playmaker in order to get to that next level in his game. Rooting for him, championships are in his near future.
