Thanks Yvonne & Mike ☺ That is a rather splendid place indeed & entices me to visit as I've never set foot in Greece. I was wondering if you got any notifications for my comments on your previous videos or is the a glitch in RU-vid's matrix? I hope you haven't sold off your channel as I hear a new narrator, or is it AI? Have a truly wonderful week my friends 🤗
Hiya Mr R, a pleasure to hear from you. Ah, I don't think anyone would quite want to buy our channel ha ha and we're not planning to go anywhere. We've got rather a lot of footage to narrate at the moment, so just getting a bit of help on one or two for now. Sorry for the delayed reply, I was planning on dropping you a private message anyway to say hello, so I'll do that when I get a moment. Have a good Sunday Pal.
Thanks for dropping by LY&M. Pleased to know you enjoyed walking through Chania with me. Quite agree it has a lovely atmosphere at night and in the day for that matter. All the best to you and thanks for staying in touch.
Thanks for the added info Mike. Chania looks really quite atmospheric, the kind of place I'd def' enjoy. Sterling work as always. Keep 'em coming won't you.
You're most welcome BIAF. I'd say it'd be hard for anyone not to enjoy Chania, even in the high season which this was right in! Hope you get to visit for real someday. Thanks for dropping by.
My favourite city and I visit a couple of times a year to see family (I live in Portugal). Last time, I thought the centre was looking a bit down-at-heel. I remember being shocked at a soup kitchen set up outside the closed Debenhams late afternoon. There were around 20 homeless people grateful for some food. I'd never seen that before...yes, one or two homeless in doorways but the scale of this deprivation came as a shock in a city that I always regarded as quite prosperous. Modern Britain, I guess...
I wasn’t born though in the UK raised in Toronto CDA though very UK blood. I too went to the UK in 1979 but to visit Dover,& London. Then I was just 17. Unknown about FOLKSTONE heritage I had till much later in life….

Well that's very nice to hear you enjoy the walks @mariviberrios, good of you to drop by to let us know. Hope to bring you many more perambulations both narrated and non. All the best to you.
Well done sharing this walk in old Sudbury in Suffolk 😄👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍 Was born in Sudbury in 1958….now I live abroad….despite that….I like to visit Suffolk and Norfolk each year…all those beautiful villages…pubs (with the best choice of beer in the World)….antique shops and the countryside too 😊🇬🇧
i wanted to go there but i was waiting for summer here. problem is i didn't have enough time to book something off. now it's the end of summer :( wanted to go before the festival. although I'm a Londoner I think I could live here. Seems lively enough and full of things I like - witchy shops and bookshops. 10 degrees? oh no can do.
Hi there @bluebellbeatnik4945, ha ha, I know what you mean about waiting for the summer to arrive! waiting for summer here. As you say it's a lively place, especially if you like as you say witchy shops and bookshops! Thanks for staying in touch.
Brew a coffee, sit yourself down and relax in the most beautiful square in Tenerife, Canary Islands. Soak up the sounds and ambience of a real coffee shop in the heart of Garachico - voted one of Spain's most beautiful towns.
Thanks Yvonne, Mike & unknown person! Who's the new member of the team?! 🤔 I thoroughly enjoyed that with all those facts & figures as the only thing I knew about Glastonbury was its festival as it wouldn't be something I'd be interested in, but your video definitely piqued my interest in the town. Enjoy the rest of June my friends 🤗
Hello there our good friend Rue, so sorry for the delayed response, really pleased it piqued your interest of Glastonbury. it's really got to be the most unique place we've ever been to, and we've been to some pretty odd places! Hope you get to visit someday. We'd love to hear your narration on it for sure. All the best to you mate.
Loved the walk through with the guide, I've not been for many a moon and it reminded me of just how completely different Glastonbury is to most every other UK town, apart from perhaps Totnes. Loved the guy in the pith helmet at 11! Thanks as always.
Home of the Glastonbury Music Festival - Glastonbury Somerset is a truly unique setting, with its rich history linked to King Arthur and Joseph of Arimathea.
