One of the best bands in Southern Gospel. The guitarist, Kelly Back, went on to beocme one of the busiest session players in Nashville. Daryll Lecroy (the steel player) played in Nashville for years as well as for groups like Gold City. (Sadly, Darryl passed away in 2020.). The drummer, Tracy Preston Richardson, could do more with a snare, a bass and a hi-hat than most drummers could do with a full kit. (Sadly, Tracy passed away in 2012). The pianist, Rodney Lashum, passed away in 2002 at the age of 44. There will never be another live band like this one.
Im gonna be beside of myself when i get carried away. I will be beside if myself when i stand before king Jesus. Praising my lord and savior for eternity.
Always special in my heart. Saw them as a 13-14 yr. old. Never got over it. Thank God. They were a real talent and they performed in a tiny church in Ky.
I can’t find a way to simply comment so I’ll reply to yours: I totally agree! It was like a member of the family died when Kenny passed! I am always amazed at their talent and of Kenny’s voice!
Of the reunions this my favorite. Troy was there as was Chris .Only Jack was missing. Ronnie was their as was Eddie. Archie and Mike along Martin and the other musicians were there.
The songs of today dont even compare to the songs the Hinsons wrote and sang. Im 35 yrs young and love them!!! Never got to see them live, but wish I had!! Young people today dont even realize what they missed, not hearing the Hinsons.
Hinsons is and always been my favorite group of all time, unmatched. Kenny will always be the best. This group was anointed, always love their concerts singing's.. got to go to many of their concerts, they even come to my little small country church when they were known as the number one group in the nation, to who posted thanks so much appreciate you doing this..
I am from Birch Tree, Mo. They will always be my favorite. I have seen them twice but the first one means to me. In 1978 they were big. We heard they were coming to town Oh Boy! The concert was in the elementary school. The house ws packed. The spirit hit. The good thing was my brother had lost the Lord and that night he found him again.. He went on this past Christmas time.
Love to hear candy's anointed singing. When Jesus saved my soul he turned me completely around. He santified me and filled me with the holy ghost. That's what it's going to take for to make it to heaven.
I was blessed to see the Hinsons live many times in venues large and small even in my own church once. Never did I see them when they did not hold a wonderful spirit filled service. This is an extraordinary video. Thank you so much for posting it. Praise the Lord!
Love the whole group and miss there music, i have only 3 of there CD’s but Lord willing I will get more i love them so much, just wait till we get to Heaven and get to hear them again , what a glorious day that will be to see Jesus face to face and the music I believe will be the best for eternity, i’m excited for that day, to be with our Lord and savior for ever praising him, i could go on forever about all the wonderful things i look forward to i thank God He shared Kenny and the group with us for a time wish it were a longer time but God has His reasons and seasons for us all , God bless all
Oh my goodness this is so "INCREDIBLE' what a wonderful and amazing Concert!! We were so very BLESSED!!!! When Ronnie and then Kenny sang The Lighthouse WOW!! The testimony that went along with that song was such a blessing. Thanks for posting this. We loved it so much.🙂❤

A MILLION THANK YOU’s to WHOMEVER posted this. I am ALWAYS looking for old performances of these folks. They were dear friends and everyone of them were so talented, that we in the southern gospel family appreciated m9re than we can ever say. We Love miss you all so very much. There is NOTHING like familial harmony. Especially when they are anointed by GOD Almighty!

Everyone needs salvation here are the words of salvation please forgive me jesus im a sinner come into my heart and save me from my sin I no that you are the savior and I no that you died for me on calvary and I no that God raise you from the dead and you are alive and I thankyou for your salvation in Jesus holy name amen and its important to always ask for forgivenes
Keep in mind that home video/audio technology in the 80s was not what it is today. I’m just thankful we have any footage of this great reunion concert, regardless of audio quality. I’ve heard much worse quality than this from home recordings.
@@brandenblackwell9116 That's a good way to see it, but I am unable to listen because the audio is not a direct feed. In the 80's a direct audio feed would sound great, & did sound great, even with 80's home video/audio technology, therefore I'll just watch it.
@@martinsimmons5668 It's your choice, your loss!😕😕I have seen you post this argument before, and I have concluded that you simply want to display your "superior"knowledge. No one cares about that, we just love to listen to the precious message and enjoy the music, as it is.
I'm sure you do not remember me But you played at my church at Glen Raven Baptist Church but I now live at the beach now but regardless where i live my God is here.
