I got the bellow message while adding the dependent details. Even I tried creating the new account for the dependent but its showing the same message. "Your personal details match a profile which already exists in our database. If you created this profile in the past and forgot the password, please use the 'Forgot your password?' function on the login screen. If this user name isn't familiar to you, please contact our helpline through the Provide Feedback option in the left menu or by sending an E-mail to our helpline. Please don't forget to attach the scanned copy of your passport's data page to your feedback message/E-mail." I have no clue why it is showing that details.

Previously, i had added my twin children (19 years) as dependents while taking appointment for myself and spouse, however, did not take appointment nor pay fees for my dependent children, as they couldn’t accompany on the same date, now my visa appointment is done and now like to take appointment for my children. So should I proceed with my Primary a/c in US visa scheduling site and use 'Close application' option, and re-add dependent details or create seperate a/c for one of the child and add 2 child as dependent? Please advise.

I am eligible for drop box, can i select a drop box location as Chennai for a particular date and time, and go to different location ofc (example Hyderabad)on the same particular date and time, and give the documents , will Hyderabad location ofc accept? Since i selected as Chennai. !!! Can you please clarify??

Hi, we are travelling to the UK via Paris and applying for transit visa, we have 17 hours of layover in between, ‘ll we be allowed to step out of the airport during the layover period ??
Now in the new portal for booking Visa Appointment, it’s no longer possible for L1 blankets to add their dependents because the visa category comes straight out when you add dependence. Have you come across the situation and do you know the solution to it?
@umreeka can I ask for some help in adding a dependent? I can see my husband's name as dependent but once I add him, the portal tells me that profile already exists. I am using the same username and password.
@@Umreeka We are sorry! We are sorry, you are currently unable to log into the Visa portal because you are a dependent. Please reach out to your Primary Applicant. If your Primary Applicant has already scheduled an appointment(s), have your Primary Applicant reach out to the call center to disassociate you from the Primary Applicant's application. If your Primary Applicant has not scheduled an appointment(s), the Primary Applicant can log into the Visa portal and drop you from the Primary Applicant's application. If you do not believe you are a dependent, please contact the help desk.
Me & wife both filled separate ds160. Now we both want same day visa slot. We are financially independent. Shall i use group option or add dependant in one profile for taking single day visa appointment on CGI portal?
