Very good video..but at the beginning you said call shy.. they talk everyday to each other..they might be people shy or predator shy ...not call shy. .
I didn't have time to watch the entire video this morning, and hopefully I will later. I know this is an old video, and I may not get a response, but did you find those D-Shackles at "Ace Hardware"? Or what did you do to replace those?
Chalk white heads have worked better for me as it indicates a hen is ready to bread so a gobbler knows it’s go time to breed when he sees it on the other Tom/jake. I target the dominate bird though on our farm. I dry brush some acrylic iridescent green and bronze onto the body feathers of a decoy. I have a ol tom Casanova i painted that looks as good as a dsd. Dry brushing metallic will make a decoy look way more real and give it that color pop like a real Tom at different light angles
I tried prairie storm today , against a turkey load and the prairie storm did better . I was shooting a 20 gayge 3 inch shell 1 1/4 ounce number 6 . They are a little high in price but you get 25 in a box at the same price of 10 turkey rounds , I was shooting at 30 yards .
I've been avoiding watching this video. Today I decided to give it a listen. Thankfully! Excellent analysis and message. I think that the unconstrained and constrained are the z dimension and not confined to the right&left vs center political positions. So your circle transformed into a sphere. I think some one could have a very right or left value system and they may be more or less constrained. Think about the Pope vs. a religious militant or Ghandi vs. Malcom X? Maybe not good examples, but I hope you understand what I'm saying. I'd gladly invest the time to watch another video as you continue to develope your analysis.
They hear hens and other gobblers everyday of the year.....there is no such thing as a call shy turkey....it's the pressure they feel from human presence in the woods.....quit making content when you don't know what ur talking about.....I've killed countless turkeys where someone says they just ain't gobbling or responding to a call....you know turkeys drum to a call...and don't always gobble....it's a lil advanced for you..lol
Those are sealed bearings dude. Oil up the outside and use 'em again unless they are squawking. When your done using the drill....clean it up good and spray a little Fluid Film in those bearing locations. (or you could spray some diesel fluid....as farmers have done for years.) You will thank me later. I do appreciate seeing your efforts here.....you must be seeding in a rock quarry? OH.....and wear some long sleeves.
That was a great video! Nothing better than hearing bugles like that when in the woods and bonus seeing one that close up!! I get gooseys anytime I hear a bull bugle it’s an amazing feeling and sound!
Good stuff…I believe in the total package being shaft, vanes, nock, insert and Broadhead! That being said, my go to, has been the G5 Striker for years now, taking everything from Deer, Elk and Moose!
