Hi, I'm from the internet! You might know me for one of two things: 1) my YSFlight content, or B) my raving about US politics and (occasionally) other things on Twitter. Only look at the latter stuff if you're not a fan of the whole "keeping your sanity" thing.

I really think this game should have included rum, probably in the place of the cointreau (they already have triple sec, do they really need triple sec _and_ a specific brand of triple sec?)
All but one of them are extracted from various videos from DCS, with aircraft like the F-16 and F-18. The one exception is the Stinger, which is a real-world recording of a Gripen doing its famous whistle.
A combination of ALVARR's ground texture mod, Indy's Space Coast map, and my own custom-built jet in the 2UCW customs pack. The audio was all edited into this video in post.
Ok, I just wanted to say that this is the best tutorial I have ever seen, for real!! The microphone quality, the actual editing, the concise explination, this is a beautiful video! You deserve at least 100k subscribers!!!
Thanks! We actually stepped up the production a little bit more in the second part, and should I ever feel the need to make a third video, it'll also be different from the first two.
this is a great tutorial but when downloaded the addon and before when i try drag and drop it , i opened the ys flight simuator folder but unlike yours mine only showed four things which i dont know what were they but one thing was named setup exe and i also downloaded the 2015 version also , how is that
We have a bit of alternate history going on with the 2UCW fleet lol. We also fly the Su-47, a hybrid bomber-gunship B-1 Spooky, and even a supersonic bomber Concorde. Part of that's because the squad's origins are as an Ace Combat-themed group, so that's always been standard practice.
Not sure if you can trust the difficulty settings. I set up my 3 wingmen to have the Ace setting and set all the AI to easiest for my first try at the combat mode. Literally as soon as we crossed paths 2 of my wingmen were taken down, an F22 and an F18 only the F15 survived while I was piloting the F14. Enemies were all on easiest, a su22 two mig21 a mig 19 and a su27
Yeah, the AI on both sides can be dumb as rocks, and tend to have a lot of midair collisions regardless of the difficulty setting. That's why I turned off midair collisions long ago.
@@SPFLDAngler Oh god, that's even sillier. I've never seen the ally AI just go "nope, I'm out" before, but can totally see it happening. (If it happens to you again, try calling up the radio comms menu and ordering the wingmen back into attack mode.)
just got a new PC about 16gb RAM and RTX 2060 so just casually downloading this again to feel the nostalgia and HOLY sheet..its was LAGGY AF...idk why...my laptop from 2016 can do 60 but tis new cant even go 2 fps💀 other game works really2 well but maybe its just I did something wrong in the game...anyways nice vids! edit: yea it works again..beautiful 60+fps...idk how I did it, or what happened but it works again well
Depends on the version and the mods you're using. The 2018 version, in my experience, is absolutely *dreadful* with framerate. Just last month, Soji made YSFlight open-source, and for this exact reason, optimization is at the very top of our community to-do list for future development.
Oh, there's a ton. Check out part 2 of this video, and you can see just a few of them. There's a spreadsheet linked in the description of said video that lists almost every YS mod ever made.
@@levelzapstudios1145 Weird. If you haven't already, try getting 7Zip and using its Extract function to do the unpacking. Windows has a weird habit of ghosting manual inputs like that.
