Do you know any other aircraft in the game that can do the Pugachev Cobra maneuver? Based on the aircraft i got apparently only the default F22 raptor can do it.

You're better off getting mods. Ones like Taskforce 58's CF-27D and the 241st's Black Flanker are pretty good at post-stalling.

I know the game's probably outdated by now but when you drag the two files aircraft and user does it automatically merge everytime because when i tried to install new mods such as the F/A-18E/F Hornet it never lets me put the files in when you install more mods never works. Also can you create a "user" file yourself?

just got a new PC about 16gb RAM and RTX 2060 so just casually downloading this again to feel the nostalgia and HOLY sheet..its was LAGGY AF...idk why...my laptop from 2016 can do 60 but tis new cant even go 2 fps💀 other game works really2 well but maybe its just I did something wrong in the game...anyways nice vids! edit: yea it works again..beautiful 60+fps...idk how I did it, or what happened but it works again well

Depends on the version and the mods you're using. The 2018 version, in my experience, is absolutely *dreadful* with framerate. Just last month, Soji made YSFlight open-source, and for this exact reason, optimization is at the very top of our community to-do list for future development.

this is a great tutorial but when downloaded the addon and before when i try drag and drop it , i opened the ys flight simuator folder but unlike yours mine only showed four things which i dont know what were they but one thing was named setup exe and i also downloaded the 2015 version also , how is that

Uh... that means you either didn't install YS, or you have, and you're looking at the wrong folder entirely.

My laptop's ESC key doesn't work, so how will I leave an online room? Do I press the "terminate" button after crashing or should I press Alt+F4?

If I recall right, you can rebind the terminate button to any other button - check the Joystick/Key Configuration page under the settings menu.

That probably means that the window opened offscreen. Use the Windows key + arrow keys to move it around, and it should appear back on screen.

We stopped accepting trainee applications a couple of months ago, so unless that changes any time soon, no. You can definitely come on our server though.

@@RuskiWaffle Nah. The map we run on it is modded, but all that's different is the ground objects. Other than that, it's the stock Hawaii, so anyone can log onto the server. 2ucw.ddns.net

Do you have admin permissions on your computer? If not, you won't be able to mod YS unless you install it outside of Program Files.

@@HawkbitAlpha I have admin permissions, but when I copy the user folder nothing happens, it lets me do it with the aircraft folder though

@@levelzapstudios1145 Weird. If you haven't already, try getting 7Zip and using its Extract function to do the unpacking. Windows has a weird habit of ghosting manual inputs like that.

@@HawkbitAlpha knew it, i can identify that intro anywhere. side note: i tried using a (frsky) taranis plus controller to play the sim, lets just say i wish i had rudder. i wonder if someone already made a addon for rc controllers.
