Haha… yeah that was a sneaky title. Oh man, that’s a tough one. I really like the Nano Bam for size and weight, had no issues with it on the Furitek or Rockwolf ESCs. For pancakes, (barring the new Mofo MVP I haven’t used) I like the Mini Komodo/Furitek ESC. SMP is close though. I really miss the Lizard Umtimate. That was my favorite ESC hands down. Now I am going more with the Rockwolf just to get off the Furitek bandwagon for a bit. Besides having to preset them up on a PC/cable, they are great. Not as much to fiddle with tuning wise though like the BT app has. Honestly, they are all pretty dang good/close. Miles above any stock motor/esc.
@@bcochener Thank you for your feedback. I am still running a few of the original lizards. Underpowered maybe but zero issues. I am still running an original Komodo and Surpass. lol. I upgraded one recently with the Nano Bam and Rockwolf. Super happy with it, but definitely like the Furitek App better for sure. Which was pushing me toward trying the Cedar/PythonPro for my current build. On instagram I see a lot of going over to the Vt3k esc but don’t see them talking about the programming. Seeing you still tried most options and still liking the Moforc products I may go that way. We are fortunate to have a lot of good options. Thanks again!
@@benrccrawlin surpass, Komodo! Same. I have so many types of motors and Furitek ESCs. Now quite a few Rockwolfs. I really have had no issues with any, other than getting the smooth FOC transfer worked out on the app. It’s a bit of a guessing game with non Furitek brand motors as to what preset type to choose. Like I ended up on the Komodo type motor setting for my Mofo ROP to work best. I’ve use one Python and one Pro. Great, but big and costly. Ultimate was perfect…
From what I've seen, LGRP has amazing quality of parts fit'n'finish, but their transmission has some bad reviews. I'm not into printed cages. I'd like to see aluminum and less cluttered crowded cages. Maybe not possible, works on 1/10 and 1/1, but when taken down to 1/24 it just seems so tight and cluttered, if that makes any sense. 🫤
Yeah, not sure the deal on that Trans. I ultimately got it smooth as butter, but it shouldn’t have taken that much attention/work to get it smooth. Still hoping it was a fluke run in production. I may try one again down the line. I did pick up the X-Factor cage set/frame to build. I agree on the tightness of them. They look great, but I mean we still have to put a battery in (and out optimally) of that cage!! Cheers!
@bcochener I figured that since I saw the ccxrc decal on it, love that you included the case and a box of additional goodies. It's such an awesome looking Rig and I am sure it's capable as hell.
@@radioactivescalerc yeah it is… so beautiful I didn’t think I would want to scratch it up… 😂, so… the solution is to let someone else scratch it up and just watch it work! Hopefully he’ll post some comp videos with it (winning?) Cheers brother!
Almost threw the laptop accross the room but I’m glad I stayed focus !! Damn, my weekly youtube roundup without one of your video would feel very sad and empty. Keep the builds coming and thanks for the fortunate guy who will receive the little care package from you ! Signature attention to detail 💅🏻
What.... Have.... You... Done..... money is only money and everyone has it... but the build is part of you.. u will see in the future that this was a bad move..😞
No, no, you got that wrong. “I will see IT in the future.” Hopefully comping in MI! It’s not for the money on this one, it’s giving this little guy the life he always deserved! 😆
Thank you. You started my scx24 craze and I will continue to watch your content unfortunately having alot of rcs makes it hard to fix them all but I will some day fix my 24s can't wait for the video of all the builds.
@bcochener well your not to blame my dad started doing rcs a long time ago and had me and I've been hooked since but you helped me along in my crawler journey
Thank you! I totally agree. Too beautiful to not get put to use… and I can’t bring myself to scratch it but, I can happily watch someone else scratch it up and enjoy it!
Last time I checked I couldn’t find the ones on Ali Express. These look very similar to the GRC Brackets. www.ebay.com/itm/203114278961?hash=item2f4a8df031:g:h2cAAOSwv9pfbBPA
Where did you get the brackets ? I bought the mud flaps from atees and just received them but even in the packaging it says mud flaps w/o brackets I can’t find any on the site….
