Appreciate the feedback on the parts. I have been cleaning up the bearing races with a reamer now. Better fitment and no more binding when tightening the case up. Also, I want to apologize for the trouble you had. I will definitely incorporate your feedback going forward. Thanks again.
Hey, no problem at all. Love it that you’re here watching and getting the feedback. I’m pretty used to dealing with little fitment/tolerance issues myself and like to help folks who may need a bit more troubleshooting help. Never like to be the guy to throw up my hands and return something. I don’t blame you. I assume you don’t literally machine the parts. Not a big deal, glad you can address it moving forward though. Cheers!
3 thumbs up for paying attention to clients and responding!!! Brian is the Master Artist of 1/24th builds, hands down. And I must say, your parts and anodizing are fantastic!!! Nice to see proper, brightly saturated colors. (I'm a 80/90's mountain bike junkie and ano parts addict from back then). Just wish you were in Canada! 😁👍
That turned out great. The chassis mod was definitely a plus. Btw, KtechRC has teal beadlock rings if you were interested instead of the Mazz carbon fiber. Thanks for the video. May need to pick up one of these chassis myself.
Thanks bud! I think this is the best “buggy” type flat chassis rail system for the mass market. I saw those Teal rings, but I do t think they have enough holes to fit the Type Bs I used. Ktech is doing some really cool graphic stuff though!
Love the build but I feel like injora missed the mark with this chassis by not including a pop in roof covering. I have been thinking about building one of these chassis but I want a roof lol
