A few twists along with a few straights and no mags make for some great racing. Sometimes it's better to just slow down. I'd love to see some viper brass non mag gravity type cars come out in the future.
I have some 3mm RGB's with the built in diode. Also Red ,white ,blue and green I used to wire them into my quadcopter builds. Think I will do some experimenting.
Damn, wish I found this video before I bought a wheel hub press to install mine. Can you use a press to mount these, or should I just use your method instead? I'd also like to ask about best use for the 3 different types of independent front ends you sell. My thinking is brass for added cornering stability in low/no down-force cars (like my Jet 2.0), aluminum for fast magnet cars, and slight confusion about the delrin version. Maybe just a bit lighter weight than the aluminum?
@@CR3DT We use trackmate on almost everything. Although this particular track utilized Slot Trak with pit feature.. If you go that route be ready for some fun haha
Okay, let's talk cost, voltage usage and added heat on drive train,added weight and the the effects on top end speed as well as the inconvenience of having them welded on to your pickup shoes at an automotive shop. Don't get me talking about mechanics now,I tell you what? bye for now 😎
@@viperscaleracing are you using a diode to block reverse voltage? Protect LEds if car spins? Maybe fiber optic rods for red tail lights ? Blue headlights? Color matched to lane? Hope the best for you guys.

What happened to the cars actual chassis. I can see the rear rims have 3 different colors in this video. They should be black and started out grey then black then gold 1.5 gold Gt40

Dan, I know this is an older video but this was a terrific video on how to get her done. How to build the viper slot car how to do the Lexan body absolutely splendid this young man did a terrific job. Well, he’s five years older now maybe not quite as young today.
I swear its like mattel and Carrera had some bastard child together and decided to call it racemasters. My boycott is still going strong until things drastically improve on their end.
No excuse for those crooked wheels on AFX or anything else. Quality wheel presses are dirt cheap when the cost is averaged out over years of use. Car looks great otherwise.
Blows me away the speed and handling they can get out of a t jet, but I'm not really a fan of the fray. Don't get me wrong I love building up and playing with my pancakes and inlines but I don't have the budget or the time to build up multiple cars to the competitive level like these guys can do.
