It's not really a hobby shop, it's just another rc shop. Big difference. I enjoyed flying years ago but the rc car stuff just isn't my thing.. found it boring overall- I do try to incorporate some rc stuff into my 1/24th slot car builds so these places do get my money now and then. People still run nitro cars in this day of brushless? I remember the tmaxx rage years ago. Hope it works out for you Dan. Back to the viper page- working on my new wish list for h.o. goodies.
@@viperscaleracing that's easy- do you remember real hobby shops? They cater to a lot of different interests other then rc cars, boats and planes/helos. They carry model kits, trains, rockets, slot cars, possibly coins and diecast not to mention all the supplies needed for mentioned hobbies- and I'm not talking about some toy store like hobbytown has become. But I get it- rc crap keeps the doors open these days, much like GM keeps repair shops and tow trucks busy. We live in a gimme now society where people don't have the patience or brain pan for something challenging or fun. They want easy and convenient instead. I'll support a good mom and pop hobby shop over hobby lobby or hobbytown but they are becoming few and far between.
