Ooh someone got offended. Calm down Mr short fuse. It did drive him insane to the point he took his life. I think personally you should shut your mouth and keep yourself to yourself

This scene is really something, because at the end of it, everyone knows something or reveals something. Stringer sees that Avon is being true to the game by not snitching and in a sneaky way admits to Brianna he knows she knows with the "whatever happened" line, but knows she has to let it go without corroboration from Avon. If Brianna didn't believe Avon had something to do with it before, she knew then that Avon didn't order, but knew that he wasn't built to backdoor people. Then, while Avon didn't approve the hit, Avon knew Stringer told the truth a little about D almost snitchin before and just because he's at peace now, he may get a few years into his sentence and want life with his son or something. I liked D, buthis mental state was a liability.
This is my favorite scene of the whole show. Avons face trying to keep in his emotions is crazy. But one thing I don't understand is how can they be so mad that d got killed. I understand he was family but dude was about to snitch on EVERYBODY...and this was just after a couple days in jail. They really thought he was gonna stay solid for 20 years in prison? String did the right thing. They all know that's part of the game. Including D
He changed his mind on snitching and said to the police and his family to leave him alone and let him do his 20 years. Stringer thought "D" was weak...but he wasn't.
Avon is a warrior-king in every other scene, but in this one he's a little brother. Wood Harris is a beast, totally underrated and a master of his craft. All 3 of them.
Yep normally he’s the king who stands tall even in court they made him feel like a king with no sweat but In this scene he can’t even make eye contact with his sister.
Felt bad for Avon knowing damn well he wanted to tell breonna it was this mf(stringer) not me On the other hand, he had to protect stringer because he knew he was right about Dee. Had Dee would've been anybody else but family he would've been a loose end. However deep down inside he still had love for String despite his disloyalty, he really didn't blame stringer for that (Prop Joe). The Wire is a masterpiece when it comes to screenwriting like no other
I think Brianna knew it was Stringer right when Avon said he had nothing to do it notice she only looked at Avon when leaving the room she didn't even glance in stringers direction at all
If Stringer was a little more savvy he’d have know he was a dead man after telling Avon about what he did to D. He just got too prideful. Just like Avon said in their argument, not hard enough for the street life, not smart enough for the suit and tie life.
Stringer fucked over avon on that💯 as brothers thats code and shoulda been talked about especially how they came up and the game they were in. Avon showed no weakness here, he was a real man and a real man couldn't lie to his own blood just like he said " LIKE I CAN DO THAT TO MY OWN KIN"!

I LOST RESPECT FOR AVON ON THIS SCENE, YOU LIED TO YO SISTER FACE FOR A MAN WHO HAD YOUR NEPHEW KILLED? & DEE TOOK HIS TIME LIKE A MAN, MARLO WOULD NEVER 🤧
