Hi With my self-made crossbow, I represent the same direction as you pointed out in the test. Even 150 lbs represents more than enough destructive power. no matter how strong a crossbow is, if I can't load it in time I'm dead. This is my newest crossbow, specially designed for tactical, home defense purposes: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-i9Q7wZ9iExY.htmlsi=8T4LZa1_rlW7l5Jg ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-T2ZVu6tiSaE.htmlsi=-O6NSdC93wik7i2v
Exactly modern crossbows keep chasing speeds and are getting crazy with draw weights. To me efficiency and ease of use are way more important. Also I love your channel 👌

@@archery.customs Thanks high speed is important only for hunting and long-range target shooting. compound crossbow I only made one piece because it is complicated. I prefer to design a crossbow with a multi-shot magazine.
OK it's actually 280ish 😂 but if you see my other vids it's chronographing right now at 140fps. If you time the flight in the video it's about 2 seconds, 2x140=280 🤔
@@archery.customs I'm really not trying to knock you dude that is pretty cool and I know cameras can play tricks but there's no way that even looks close to even 90 yards to me (270ft) and with so much video editing on your math with feet per second and all that is not going to help ,I'm really not concerned about it, I just randomly came across it. But if you use the same camera and the same supposed amount of feet, if i were you I would sit up a stationary camera with some type of yard tape measurement tool showing you walking it out to prove that's how far you're shooting .
@@archery.customs I wasn't stating either that you were editing I was saying in general with RU-vid in today's world, and I'm having a brain fart at the moment but whatever those tools are with the wheels that are digital whenever they are serving or doing football fields I would use one of those because I can't be the only person that's going to say that to you.
Maybe you should surround the pvc tube with something softer than wood or more flexible were it's attached to the wood, that problem there is the difference of rigidity and the small point of contact with something so rigid, or make it progressively rigid like putting more and more pvc pipes around the center like sleeves making it progressively shorter and stacked the more close to the wood Good video
