First off shout out to my favorite RU-vid channel the slingshot Channel. I finally put together my giant pvc crossbow, the build took some planning and a lot of testing to make sure I didn't get hurt. The crossbow ended up working well but had a premature failure in only 4 shots due to me adding a short center tube to "stiffen" up the center. The plain is to rebuild the crossbow prod and roof mount it on my SUV to make some cool videos with.

Yes both of the last 2 arrows had kitchen knifes. Instead of wasting time making new arrows I just taped a knife to it 😂

Not fully yet because my field is not very big. At half draw it easily goes 300 ft tho.

You have to watch the temperature outside with PVC it gets hard and brittle or soft when he gets very warm

I'm aware it was cold that day but it broke because my dumb self put a center piece inside the limb that didn't need to be there.

Technically it's still a crossbow because ballista limbs don't flex they use a torsion propelled limb, but they both throw things really fast lol.
