What makes the "LK finishing basic dance classes" thing even crazier is that I looked it up & b4 him it was a Twice member (I... don't remember who tho) who finished in 3... MONTHS. For a lot of those things, I only rly find them impressive when put into perspective :0
I'd love dance practice reactions, I also know nothing about dance but still love watching them! The intros really make you appreciate them even more, thanks for checking them out :)
Forgot to add in my comment - the Mixtapes that were originally CD only are now released for streaming, both in original Mixtape and in the new OT8 versions that were re-released on the SKZ2020 and SKZ2021 rerelease albums (they redid most of their songs as OT8, only a couple weren't re-released).
I would love to watch you watch their dance practices. I adore dance practices and I don't know any terms either lol. They have serious and unserious ones. It's really interesting to see the entire dance for songs instead of catching little glimpses thru an MV. Sometimes, the MV doesn't show the most interesting parts of a choreo anyway. The way they start many of their songs are so interesting. They also have some, like Voices, where they redid a performance or special performance as OT8 and those are interesting to check out as well. I like seeing the changes made to the original choreo. It's also fun to try to catch funny things happening during the practices, both in the serious and unserious ones. Like Felix's hat dropping down to cover his eye for like 10 secs while he's dancing, Lee Know's reflexes in catching a hat flying off his head, Bang Chan making the curling brush strokes to usher Felix's upcoming part in the song, etc. And their Halloween versions are so fun! My fav is the Zombie Maniac dance practice. I've had to watch it a few times, focusing on different people just to try to catch all their shenanigans.
Glad you liked the intro. They put so much into their work, and a lot of people skip the intros. Which are where they tell us of the thoughts they put into each song. The album is so good. I would also suggest watching the album trailers. They are so much fun. They impart the idea of the album, and later they started making them mini movies.
AHH YES, get cool is written in the same font as awkward silence and you will definetely enjoy it, is such a funny and cute song to just vibe to, also, I vote yes to the dance practices, mostly because even if you don't know much about dance, you can appreciate the full choreo and they're always fun to watch, you can also watch like special performances or performance videos, some songs only have dance practices or performance versions instead of a music video. And, lastly (sorry for the bible of a comment), I think buying "I am Who?" is the right move, but you can also buy the most recent ones since they might be more easily available, it's up to you, AHH ALSO ALSO, SORRY, I was wondering cause I am not completely sure, if you had been reacting to the teasers for their albums/title tracks when you made the full album reaction, cause those are always fun to watch as well and include some either easter eggs or things that are tied to the album message or lore I suppose
Love how you're going through their albums with the intros..makes for such a nice journey to follow. And yes... Chan's words/message. So meaningful and warm
By the way.....Stray Kids did a LIVE version of "I Am You" a few weeks after their 9th member left the group in 2019. There's no choreo - it's just them standing on stage singing. Their vocals are so good. It's actually my favorite version of the song. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-313mQ-tQQuc.html

First time listening to Mixtape #2 I almost got hit by a car since I’ve literally lost myself in the song. But, It may be a controversial suggestion but please do have a look at the original MV or Song where Woojin’s part weren’t taken out 🥲
Voices is in my top 5 fave songs of SKZ. But Insomnia & Awkward Silence are in my top 15. I recommend them all the time to people. I have to be in the mood for Behind The Light. But M.I.A is in my regular listening rotation.
I love these songs so much, also in this era Chan and the rest of 3racha stated that they just really like auto tune. They use it in a way that amplifies the songs I think any way
behind the light is my favorite mixtape. i'm crying everytime. always. gosh the lyrics and the emotions in this song.... 🥺 i hope you watch the video too soon! makes it even more emotional! ❤️
If I had to choose a favourite from this album then Voices would be my pick, but idk if I can rank anything after that, this whole album's just too good 😂 All the songs have such great messages!
You're literally the first reactor I've seen realize that the moment in Awkward Silence was real 😂 and I used to like M.I.A a normal amount until I noticed that in the MV they were singing to themselves, and then it became so insanely real and now it's my favorite on the album
ahhhh maaaan I told you M.I.A is something special, it is honestly one of my favorite songs from them, INSOMNIA gives me so much peace but it's also literally a song I've cried to when I cannot for the life of me go to sleep, I'm guessing that's what it was made for right? hahaha, and yes Awkward Silence is that girl, she's iconic, she's amazing, also Chan was not supposed to hit the camera that hard, it was supposed to be a light tap to turn it around and the reactions were genuine, the team decided to leave it in cause it matched the feel of the MV lol, there's behind the scenes of the film making if you ever wanna look that up haha
omg yeah this album is actually so freaking special because of the meaning of the songs and the messages <3 Now i know why y'all hyped this album so much
Behind The Light is honestly my favorite SKZ song. It’s one of the only songs that has made me cry. (Also, you freaking out over Changbin’s singing voice is a mood.)
