I bought a 2010 Horton, much like yours.. and of course got no spec sheet info for anything on the vehicle. Do you know how I would go about getting the original build specs and wiring diagrams? I appreciate all you have posted on your build .. it all helps me!
Hello EMT here. You did a great job explaining this. Even learned a little I didn't know myself. Great video keep it up. The seat you said a lot of people replace with a refrigerator is a seat that is used a lot for airway control. Often being used for tubbing/using a BVM ect. It is called the caption seat a lot of times.
Any thoughts about that disclaimer in the fitment directions not to enclose in a cabinet? I'm thinking about installing one in the pantry wall next to my fridge. Cabinet doors would be at least partially open when in use. Have you had problems with heat build up when using the oven or air fryer settings?
advice if you have a wabesco aux htr buy a few compressors for it if you can fic it your self i,m a diesel fleet mechnic for a large city metro system my parts are free
Great jump starter,,, BUT,,, How and which cable “when jump starting “ do you put the positive on & negative, the batteries are hooked positive to a negative and a negative is hooked to another battery that is on positive?
The only thing is when I hook My Tender up to it now it never Fully Charges anymore. When it's finished the Light is supposed to change to Green, but it never does.
This exact thing happened to My Bike. I had 4 Bad Batteries laying around, so I Refilled it with the Acid from them. Charged it up and it works better than ever lol. I've been using it for 6 Month's now.
Hey dude. Found this video super interesting. I’m trying to go wireless for dual or triple screens from one computer/laptop. I’ll settle for dual screens if possible but does it extend the displays so they are independent? Trying to find out what I can and thanks again Bob.
This video should be at the top of every RV / Bus forum on the internet. Packed full of RV wisdom. VB knows these buses like a pro. A true “Gospel” experience, of RV knowledge.
Looking good. While its the wrong color, you could always add the "Transcon Medi-Vac" out of Cannonball Run! There is the group of people you would know! 👍😁
most who buy old buses Or Retired Ambulance spend between 40k-130K ....depending on budget, what they put into it etc ....ive seen some who DONT remove the Emergency lights and i have to remind them being that its Not a working Emergency vehicle or a Parade vehicle Or being owned by a Emergency worker , red /blue lights & the sirens can not be on said vehicles its like a $1200 or more fine even if your not running them ... ( im a retired emergency worker myself ) most Ambulance New cost bout $200,000 or more depending on specs yes some have hydraulics , newer ones are getting stretcher lifts for obese patients so the EMT or paramedic wont kill themself trying to put the stretcher into the ambulance .. those units run bout 400-500,000 new .
I would put some solar panels on the trailer have have a way to plug it into the Ambulance. and then you could put another 6 batteries in the trailer for extra storage.
I been thinking of doing the same thing, I also have a Prevost H3-45. I lived in Vegas, Just about finishing my Prevost conversion. Bob we have a lot in common. Good plan you have.
I found you can get double Din Radio or head unit that can support up to 3 or 4 camera. I was thinking good option for Vanlife oR RV as it is one less devcie you need to buy/manage. You can even install a second LCD Display somewhere to view cams.
The nice thing about a diesel engine (I have a Bluebird school bus) is that there are repair shops all over the country because of all the diesel engines in use by over the road truckers.
Where the hell have you been Bob?? HAHAHA!! Have I just missed you?? Would love to hear your thoughts on Afterlife and Ecto One.. And the new KISS 1975 Cobo Hall restored video and audio the ALIVE! double album was based on.
