We create documentaries about Japanese artists and creators.
Through a variety of videos ranging from portraits, interviews to longer-form documentaries, we aim at providing peeks in the universe of mangaka, illustrators, game creators, musicians (and more), in addition to insights on various aspects of Japanese culture.

@Archipel I would love to see a documentary on the following topics: a tour of board game conventions with interviews of innovative board game and card game creators in Japan, a master artisan crafting traditional Japanese knives, the unique styles of Japanese fashion, and interviews with street photographers capturing life in Japan. These subjects would provide fascinating insights into Japanese culture and creativity! ❤️
Burning Rangers has been stuck in my head since I first heard it in PSO a long time ago. It's been one of my dream games to own for so long, if only it wasn't $800 for a US copy...
I think the ferrari and delorean are real cars. and I also think hiroyuki takei sensei tried not to cry while talking about losing popularity, he created a story and characters he love a but people didn't' , so it's heartbroken. I watched shaman kign when I was like 14 or 15 and now I'm 36 watching shaman king 2021, it means so much to me. shaman king is a great conceptm, weapons, stories. I feel shaman king should have more fillers and maybe yoh is too mature and smart compared to naruto, dragon ball, one piece, bleach, etc. most fans are kids or teens and they prefer less mature or smart things.
Thank you for this translation! I learned of Eno's work through a playthrough of "D", and was impressed by the ambition of it, and I would love to try "D2" sometime in the future. I was also surprised to learn that Eno was also a big YMO and Ryuichi Sakamoto fan, and I enjoyed his own arrangements of their works. Truly, a resonant calling.
Thanks for sharing these creator's thoughts with the world, as someone working in the game industry, their unique ways of thinking truly ring a bell in me.
Fujimoto-san addressing Junji Ito as sensei always makes me happy: seeing such a talented and skilled individual being so humble in front of such a legend in manga history: you can really perceive his devotion towards meticulously replicating Ito's art. I think many can learn something from Fujimoto-san's attitude in this video. Great work Archipel, beatiful documentary as usual.
He truly lived a life of creator, above everything else! Especially as we grow older, our bodies and minds need regular "maintenance" and if that is ignored, our lives will most likely be cut shorter 😔😁
She has such an amazing style , saw her illustrations somewhere else n I could immediately recognise the art style from yoku and colours . Absolutely beautiful
Actually what I expect is a normal version and a more "monster" version. Or maybe a combined version (like there's another head growing out). When Tomie is normal, she is evil and condescending; but when she becomes a monster, she is horrifying and pathetic at the same time. I think it will be a challenge to show the two sides of her.
