they're exclusive and built-in to the ship, there's literally no other way of getting your hands on it aside from just piloting the solvernia. i can't even tell if they're that useful due to how chaotic most fights are
Thanks for this dude! This is the first I saw this; its out now and just got it. Hope you did too to show some support for these devs that truly care about gaming 😁
Love watching this monster eat. Try out a fleet carrier with 5 exoscar torpedo bomber squads, and an escort of Minorias with Nekonyans. Or just give them all exoscar torpedo bombers when fighting a station. 10dp per mini carrior, 55-60 for the zep, spare like 50-60 for a battleship and you get yourself about 23 x 2 per squadron 46 exoscar torpedoes
would be nice if the command points didn't restrict the amount of ships and screen wasn't so zoomed in. I wonder if there is a mod that allows more ships to engage at the same time?
there was a mod similar to what you are asking about, not supported anymore iirc however you can just go into the files and fuck around with the numbers to be what you want, just be aware the more command points you have acces to the more likely it is for your game to slow down.
You don’t have to mod anything. Go to the json file and change the zoom multiplier and max battle size. There’s a zoom multiplier for overworld and battle. Minimum and maximum. And a minimum and maximum for battle size too. I default to 600 battle size with a max of 1000 if I want.
@@whispers2155 i'd recomend 1200 for max battle size, anything more is just overkill but anything less might feel too restricting. and this is considering i tested out a 2000 cap before.
"least unhinged solvernia setup" *soloes entire fleet including MULTIPLE slovernias AND the super carrier* hmmm, yes, totally not unhinged in the slightest.
i think i tried those at one point. can't remember exactly how it turned out, but they didn't work well enough for me to consider using them often. also it's from about a year ago, so there's a chance that the demo might have had a patch to change that. can't really guarantee
He just runs up to a group of cyber demons and flips em off 💀 Reminds me of the quicksilver freeze frame scenes from xmen Regardless of what anyone says about it, brutal doom will always be a great time and fun as hell
@@A.c.e2.0 He’s sending out an SOS lmao Dw though, I gotchu homie. If I remember correctly, the artist is “hearlesssoul” and the comic is called “Sally and Amy in the forbidden fruit.” I think I memorized the goddamn page number at some point because I want to say it is page 18. Now if only I could turn each time I’ve been asked about my profile into a dollar, that’d sure be neat.
@@A.c.e2.0 Ah man I swear I left… Yt deleted my comment. Cool. Had a bunch of stuff typed up but nooo we can’t have that! Anyhow the artist is “hearlesssoul” the comic is (I think) Sally and Amy in the forbidden fruit.
GZDoom has a setting under `i_timescale` that does this exact thing. It's not meant to be used for modding since it slows literally everything down, menu included.
This ship is my favorite . I personnally use shield shunt and go for armor, it is just too costly in term of flux. If you focus on armor it can tank a Titan easly.
I forgot to mention I was still experimenting with hullmods and weapons at the time. Forgot to remove the point-defense AI hullmod, so I could have my phase lances working properly again
To everyone worried about the separation of health and boost. There's a quick, easy fix for this. Make it so that you can boost using health if your boost meter is empty.
force field on right button pulse spitter on left buttom. fight the same spot and shoot a barrel when you need shield. dont waste time using E. If pressured hold shield up while reloading, and get rid of that useless scatterblaster :). *hint* terrain manipulator can be used to escape if you use less than optimal weaponry. I guess you fight the guards just for fun, since you can shut them down at the console without killing them
What is "this" this that you do? I mean i see you fight Sentinels. You can do thst any secured place you want too. You could also go to the pillar control and shut down the Sentinels. Get a wespon. So what is the "this"?
The main issue is that if you are in first its optimal to go for boost. If you are getting beat up by being middle of the pack then the guys who are far ahead just get a bigger lead since health is not a factor.
Can confirm. Normally I'd have my Firefox closed during recording to avoid any discord or notification blips, but it's slipped my mind on this particular one mainly cause I was so eager to make said video
I don't think i could play this game. There's some kind of motion sickness too fast too furious going on here. Most of the wipeout games have this problem too. Yet F-zero never did*, which is honestly an interesting aspect to the subtitles of it's game design. *(Technically SEGA's F-Zero game on Gamecube had some minor to major issues on certain courses, one in the Queen Cup and two in the King Cup. But they never went overboard like this game footage shown.
the amount of F Zero love the internet is expressing right now is absolutely outstanding. Nintendo really knocked it out of the park. What a resurgence
I wonder if Nintendo has a patent on the "life as boost" mechanic because it seems like every F-Zero-like strips that mechanic despite the risk-reward of that mechanic being the single best thing about F-Zero.
I they did do that, it's almost time for that patent to expire if not already. You can only hold ownership of an idea for so long. Also, there are other ways to create a risk vs reward than just having the health and boost together. This game is gonna be using heat and cold in order to damage your ship which I think is an AMAZING idea.
If patents in the USA last 20 years and that mechanic was introduced in f zero x that was released in 1998 it would already be free to use (and if it was based on f zero gx for some reason it would already be free to use)
BallisticNG and even wip3out from 1999 are a couple other AG racers with that feature, so I highly doubt they have a patent on the mechanic. It could also be possible the devs simply want to avoid copying the mechanics 1:1 to avoid a C&D as well, but that sounds like even more of a stretch.
